This game only released after the game awards to give elden ring a chance
I quit heroin to play Meteorites 3D. Real ♥♥♥♥ I actually quit heroin for a video game and I’m not even much of a gamer. Someone kind of pushed Meteorites 3D on me and told me to play it, so I did and became obsessed and didn’t even want to leave my room to score drugs and stop my cold turkey withdrawals because I was ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ doing barrel rolls and winning. By the time I was finished with the game I didn’t crave snack anymore. I just wanted more spaceship variants. Me telling people it’s time to lock myself away for a few days and face my demons cold turkey like a stoic ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ when I just genuinely didn’t want anybody bothering me while i played this wonderful game.
A first game made by an awesome dev <3 It has a bit of fun, rng, and takes some skill to be able to get the higher scores. It is also pretty fun to try and beat your friends scores and roast them for skill issue. I LOVE IT ! Can't wait to see what comes next.
This game cured my chronic priapism. Now I have reached the pinnacle of gaming.
This game is not just in le head. NOT POGGERS
Meteorites 3D is one of the most laid back retro games that were re-imagined in 3D environment, like turning space invaders to 3 dimensional action packed game. Definitely worth a play if you enjoy competing with others online in terms of score for bragging rights.
This game is something that broke the internet and made WW2 look like a simple snow ball fight, this game is harder than dark souls harder than nails you wont come out of this game the same
funny space ship go pew
This game is a great start for such a new developer to the industry. It fits the theme of the old arcade-style life-based cabinet games while keeping that modern twist by being in an entirely 3D space. The game has a built in leaderboard, to see how close you are to the top, multiple reticles for a bit of customisation in your game and a very good base for the game. I have a couple of gripes which I'm sure can get slightly altered to make the game a bit more accessible and more forgiving. To start, there were a few issues I had with meteors movement. Often I would be trying to manoeuvre around them and they would suddenly change their path towards me without any indication, causing me to run into them. I also had a majority of my deaths come from meteors that suddenly appeared behind me, not giving me a chance to actually react to them and deal with them accordingly. The bullets' speed seems to be very odd compared to the meteorites, as aiming the crosshair directly on them does not actually mean you'll hit them. Aiming slightly forwards will sometimes work, but due to the lack of depth perception you have in the game, it's hard to tell how much further forward you should be aiming. This leads on to another issue I had where it felt like I was rubbing up against borders of the map so I wasn't moving right. I'm sure a little wall that showed up near your ship to show you that you were at the edge of the map could help out with this. I think if your ship either felt like it knew where you were in relation to the environment, or your ship had an extra mobility function to help you avoid getting hit, it would raise the skill ceiling and also allow for newer players to not get stuck at lower scores. It's definitely frustrating getting killed out of what seems like nowhere. Besides these small issues, the game is a ton of fun to play and I highly recommend it to anyone with a spare $8! Despite what I've said here, I have really enjoyed this game so far and I can't wait to see updates come out and for what the developer makes next!
An incredible fast-paced game that is a proper throwback and brings a lot to the table. If you are an arcade goon or a fan of space shooters, this might be the perfect thing to satiate your action taste buds! This is the perfect pick up and play game, come in for a round and stay because you're locked in for a great time! Art style and colour scheme match the excellent vibes from the hand drawn crosshairs to the meteorites themselves. Being the developer's first game on steam, this is a fantastic way to start a what is soon to be a long and great career making brilliant games such as this!
