It was so worth the wait. I've been following this project's development for about a year now, and having all assets hand-drawn is beyond amazing. This is a 2D platformer on the more technical side of movement, you'll find yourself dying in one hit and restarting a level a number of times before you build and execute your route to the exit door for each level. The movement is super smooth, both in animation and weighty feel. Visually, the high contrast look pops, the visual design on display gets only my highest praise. The only area I have notes is the camera. It appears to be the gold standard mario camera style where once the player is centered on the screen, moving the player a certain distance left or right will begin to scroll the camera in that direction if there is scroll-able map left to display. This works well, but in my personal opinion the threshold for activating the scroll is a bit sensitive. I'd love to be able to move the player a bit more, left or right, before the camera started moving with me. All in all I cannot recommend it enough. If you like what you see in the trailer and screenshots above, you'll love this game.
+Simple yet addictive gameplay +Solid controls +Gorgeous monochrome graphics +Absolute BANGER of a soundtrack 10/10 would DEFINITELY recommend! :D
Meu review no YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vacfc7CGAIo

Cute, fun, and a gorgeous hand-drawn art style. Levels strike a perfect balance between difficult and easy to breeze through, and all the collectables make for fun optional challenges. This game oozes with charm and I cannot recommend it enough.
Stylish fun and fast little platformer. Runs great on Steam Deck!
A fun little platformer that harken back to brutal one-life level design and classic momentum-base movement while all packed up with a cool ink-and-paper style! There's also plenty of levels to play with a variety of environments, enemies, and even boss battles. The accessibility options are also a nice touch (I found it moving quite quickly so slowed down the game speed.) Just a couple points of feedback though: -Consistent crashing after 15 - 20 minutes of play -Restart level feels like a couple seconds too long -An option to adjust SFX volume would've been nice too!
if Jhonen Vasquez/Jamie smart made a 2d platformer, meant in the best way
you guys! this game is SUPER fun and platformy! i'm real bad at it, but i had a lot of fun anyway! the movements are really fluid and the mechanics are easy to understand. and! the whole thing is hand-drawn, which is REALLY impressive once you see everything in action. definitely give this game a try if you like platformers (or if you just like supporting indie devs)!!
