I tried it through EA Play, looking for a similar feeling as NFS Underground, Underground 2, Most wanted (2005) or Carbon, however, this game is not worth the money. I tried it for 1 hour and a half and couldn't play more as the game was boring, the story was boring, the artwork was not that great, the character customization you start with were basically forced diversity and there really isn't anything spectacular about this game. Totally not worth the full price.

the most ♥♥♥♥ retarded cops in need for speed games i barely got out of the garage and i see 3 cops on the mini map, 10 cops jump on me and flips my car and the game doesn't even reset my car position , this isn't real life what the ♥♥♥♥ are with those crazy desperate cops. Overall this game made me ragequit like no other game, if you get angry very quickly do not even think buying this retarded game.( sa iti iau mortii in pula de joc muist sa iti iau politisti pe linia de tren si sa ii leg pe toti sa fie spulberati de tren)

This game got a LOT better later on for multiplayer. Drag races, hot pursuits, and lockdown mode make it so much more thrilling than previous games. The only bad things I have to say about it are this: the story mode is bland, there's an untold vehicle garage limit (story mode and online combined) which will lock you out of online when surpassed, and vehicle unlocking requirements for online are weird, but that last one can be bypassed with mods. Overall, I would recommend it just for the online play which has provided endless hours of good times.
