For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. I've only played for an hour and will update this review as I play more. Not sure how much depth the game's going to have but so far I appreciate the noticeable benefits different crew members have, the worthwhile investments in upgrades and coin generation, and especially speed. You NEED speed for the end or you're going to die. I almost won on just my second run with the Bass Boat, Kraken's health was down to around 14% and was going in larger and larger circles to kite it, only to get shocked that yes, this game does have walls. No way to recover in time, got clobbered. So far so good, devs. The core gameplay is nice enough. My only suggestion is that for future updates, I would like for there to be weapons that do have to be manually triggered with a button. Like, say, a harpoon gun. Targets the closest fish, you fire it, it retracts. Or a cannon you have to hold a button to charge and release that really knocks back enemies but also knocks your ship back, too, like a build in speed boost. Just a little more involvement and can encourage more aggressive play styles that don't lead to kiting mobs of fish around and around. I will say that I did notice what appeared to be these crab enemies that didn't chase the player and instead occupied space around outposts, that's a smart disruptive move. Digging into a wishlist of future features now, and maybe the game does or doesn't have it at this time, but I'd also like to see more pronounced weather effects. Maybe one wave gets really stormy and there's more dark clouds shooting lightning. Or maybe the waters get super choppy which affects the player's the ability to turn quickly. Or maybe even wind direction that can make your boat go faster one way, but then makes it slower going against it, like it pulls on your ship and you have to battle against that. Or heavy rain that makes the screen darker and reduces the size of your lighthouse's scope, making it more of a priority to upgrade its range. I would also like to see little touches that make the different boats even more unique to play. For example, the hydrofoil's built on speed, right? So maybe it encourages a drifting playstyle. Just for that ship, hold a button, drift, release, zoom! A built-in boost from the start. It could have a cone range based on the direction of the drift that slows enemies dramatically within that range so it can just weave through. Don't really get too many nautical themed roguelites, so I want to see this succeed. 160 reviews in three days is a hot start. Recommended. UPDATE: Third time's the charm, hahaha! Won with the Bass Boat and melted the Kraken in like a minute with the Shotgun, SMG and Pistol maxed out.

Very fun game with a lot of playstyles and decisions to make. No two runs are the same
Another game in the vein of Vampire Survivors, but with a neat twist here and there to make it familiar but different enough to stand out. Solid game and love the graphic style. It even has Real Civil Engineer as a character!
great game, very fun. can't wait to unlock everything and beat the game with all the boats. i almost didn't buy it because every time i seen pics and video the colors were different and some bothered my eyes, i didn't realize i could change them and that turns out to be one of the coolest things about it.
A competent clean rogue like survival that introduces for the first time for me at least fog of war in a survivors like. Weapons feel a bit samey and upgrades lack the punch and powerful combo fantasy you hope to see in the genre. May be a luck or get good situations, however, the navigation and post office loop keep me engaged along with creative enemy types and movements patterns keep you guessing. A unique premise with clean stylish art elevates this game into a must try if it catches your eye.
definitely more engaging than the average survivors-like
Fantastic little hardcore (permadeath, no progression) game. The ocean type boating theme is a crutch of mine, and they did it WELL. The boats feel awesome (wait till you get good upgrades and synergies before you decide you dislike the driving feel) the INSANE synergies you can get honestly surprised me, theres no like, weapon combining, but when i have lasers, and spinning discs, and the force field weapon, and certain crewmates and just become a water slipping ball of death? so satisfying. There are quite a few tweaks I'd make to some of the enemies as there have been devastating run kills that didn't feel justified, but if the devs tweak it, this is a top tier game of this type IMO
fun
Nice game!
Really very pleasant survivor. I enjoy the micromanagement of time, and on-the-fly routing that the gameplay loop encourages. It's got a very relaxing vibe to it as well.
