Game crashed right after I won a race not saving my progress. Game crashed when I was selecting a driver. Game crashed when launching the game. 10/10 Would crash again. The start of every race has a non-skippable 10 second countdown...WTF. I guess I could go fill my coffee cup at the start of each race.
There are no way can change camera unless connect a controller when customization car or driver. What a lazy PC port.If you run on low PC,you can't beat time trial thus your car can move slowly Tip:page up and down is LB and RB
who needs sleep medication when you have this piece of trash? team6, never even attempt to cook again
No steering wheel support and it's incredibly bad either way. Feels unfinished, controls terribly, buggy and awful camera that is too low and close to the road and your car is blocking your view half of the time with no option for different camera distance. Absolutely rubbish. I'm refunding it.
Pros: 1. It's a fun game 2. Runs (almost) without any fps drops and stutterings 3. Descent graphics 4. Good sense of speed 5. Handling is very easy Cons: 1. Elite difficulty is unbalanced, AI seems to have an infinite nitro; 2. HUGE overprice; 3. No ability to rebild controls (and change to keyboard despite game supports both) 4. Some graphical issues (with shadows and lightnings at the rainy track) They weren't a big deal for me, but i cannot ignore them 5. It's a very short game Make your own decision to buy this game or not (but not for full price)
How does team 6 somehow get worse at making driving physics every game?
NASCAR Arcade Rush, developed by Team6 Game Studios and published by GameMill Entertainment, is an attempt to reinterpret the long-running NASCAR license through an unapologetically arcade-focused lens. Rather than chasing realism, authenticity, or simulation-heavy mechanics, the game positions itself as a fast, colorful, and accessible racer meant to appeal to casual players and fans looking for immediate thrills. It draws inspiration from classic arcade racers, layering boost mechanics, exaggerated track design, and simplified handling on top of NASCAR’s familiar cars and circuits. This approach makes the game instantly approachable, but it also sets expectations that the experience will prioritize spectacle over depth, for better and for worse. From the moment races begin, the game’s arcade identity is unmistakable. Tracks are loosely based on real NASCAR locations, but they are heavily modified with dramatic elevation changes, sharp turns, ramps, and stylized shortcuts that feel far removed from traditional oval racing. Speed is the core sensation, reinforced by constant boost opportunities and a visual presentation that emphasizes motion and momentum. Cars feel light and responsive, allowing players to jump in without learning complex physics systems. However, this simplicity also strips away much of the nuance that could keep races engaging over longer sessions. There is little sense of weight transfer, tire strategy, or tactical positioning, and driving often boils down to holding the accelerator, managing boost, and reacting to sudden track hazards. The game offers a range of modes designed to provide structure and replayability, including a career-style progression through NASCAR-themed events, quick races for instant action, time trials for chasing better lap times, and multiplayer options both online and via local split screen. The career mode serves as the primary single-player experience, guiding players through a series of races while unlocking cars, liveries, and cosmetic items. While this progression gives players short-term goals, it lacks meaningful variety. Races tend to blur together due to limited track diversity and minimal mechanical evolution, and progression rarely introduces new ideas that significantly change how the game is played. Car variety is presented as a major feature, with vehicles spanning different eras of NASCAR history. Visually, this variety is appealing, especially for fans who enjoy seeing classic designs alongside more modern stock cars. In practice, though, differences between vehicles are subtle at best. Performance distinctions are minimal, which reinforces the arcade feel but also diminishes the excitement of unlocking new cars. Customization options focus largely on appearance rather than gameplay impact, making them feel more like collectibles than tools for experimentation or strategy. Multiplayer has the potential to be one of the game’s stronger elements, particularly because it includes local split-screen support, a feature that has become increasingly rare in modern racing games. Racing alongside friends in the same room can amplify the chaotic, arcade-style fun, especially when boost mechanics and tight tracks keep the pack close together. Online multiplayer, however, struggles to maintain the same appeal. Player populations are limited, matchmaking can be inconsistent, and the underlying gameplay systems lack the depth needed to sustain long-term competitive interest. Rubber-banding mechanics, intended to keep races exciting, often feel intrusive and can undermine the satisfaction of skillful driving. Visually and sonically, NASCAR Arcade Rush delivers a bright and energetic presentation that aligns with its arcade ambitions. Tracks are colorful and stylized, menus are bold and straightforward, and the soundtrack reinforces the sense of speed and constant motion. While the visuals are serviceable, they are not particularly impressive by modern standards, and technical rough edges can occasionally break immersion. Performance issues, minor glitches, and a general lack of polish contribute to the sense that the game feels more like a budget arcade title than a fully realized racing experience. Ultimately, NASCAR Arcade Rush feels like a game with a clear concept but limited execution. Its focus on accessibility and arcade fun makes it easy to pick up and play, especially for younger players or those unfamiliar with racing games. However, the shallow mechanics, repetitive content, and lack of meaningful progression prevent it from standing out in a crowded racing genre. For NASCAR fans hoping for a lighthearted alternative to simulation-heavy titles, it may offer some short-term enjoyment, particularly in local multiplayer sessions. For players seeking depth, longevity, or a truly memorable arcade racer, the experience is likely to wear thin quickly, making it a title best approached with modest expectations or at a significant discount.
