NASCAR Arcade Rush is the first NASCAR arcade racing game developed for consoles since NASCAR Unleashed and it's okay. The missing inclusion of pickup items makes the game feel kinda dry and has more of an F1 Race Stars vibe to it with a semi-realistic driving. The boost mechanic is okay, but I really wish it just added items and drifting for boosts, along with the boost strips that exist all around the tracks. At some tracks, the car will just bounce around and even come to a stop after barely hitting the wall. In terms of achievements, this one is just a grind. The game is just okay, middle of the road I would even say. However, my reasoning for a downvote is the price. This game does not deserve to be anymore than $15-$20 and even then that's a stretch. Selling a game at this price for only 10 hours of content is insane. Only pick this game up if it goes for less than $10 and even then, compared to other arcade racers, this game is just middle of the road.
Fun arcade Nascar game with a surprisingly good custom cars. Im a sucker for Nascar though lol Perfect for Steam Deck!
This game is pretty bad. I love racing games and this is just straight boring. I know Nascar isn't the most exciting but this is downright boring. Maps are boring, AI boring, no items, two types of boost, no stats on cars, just a poorly designed game overall. Waste of 7 dollars. 1/10
omg i knew this was not going too be a good time before i bought it but boy is it as bad as people say it is camera just does whatever it wants too do the controls are not customisable the racing feels like you have magnets on the track buggy mess . shame i love nascar defo not what its described as refunding shame 1/10 token game for collectors only dont buy not even on sale unless for that reason controller xbox one perfect xbox 360 good playstation 3 is ok xinput is not workable at all steam deck not tested

NASCAR Arcade Rush is a middleing of the Road experience it does nothing really special but its also not a good or bad game, super simple gameplay: Pros: + 9 cups + 12 tracks they are fun to drive + graphics look good + time attack mode + small but fine selection of different thing to customize nothing to much but its ok + car selection is alright Cons: - barely any content for its price tag like 2-3 hour of content to play all cups and then its just for achievement stuff - physics are kinda odd sometimes in jumping - Daytona track bots are way to easy makes the track the most boring to play and Watkins Glen track is a little bit to hard but managable the rest is fine - the game had potential to be more strategy style racing if they managed the boxed stop different maybe slower speed in it, but how they done it is just go in every lap in the boxen stop and you win, without it you lose I had fun with it even it was a little bit to grindy at the end, also the max 100 level rank you get a little bit to early you still have to play like 20 races before you done with achievement stuff. Would still lean on the possitive side of things because its fun for a short while, get it at 80% sale or higher its sadly not worth the price tag.
I say this as a huge NASCAR fan. The premise of this game is good. I like the focus on speed and cornering instead of hokey powerups. However, the camera almost makes the game unplayable. The camera is not completely centered behind the car making it difficult to setup a corner. Additionally, the camera is so low to the grand that it is so hard to set up a corner when going up an incline with the apex at the peak. It would also be nice to have an indicator that warns you if pit road is on the left or right. I know that the easy fix for these complaints is to learn the track better. However this is an arcade game meant to be picked up and played simply, not like something like Forza.
Ehhhhh... It's pretty "meh" at best. At worst, unacceptable. -Basic b!tch controls and gameplay? Check. -AI that doesn't even try? Check. -Mobile game style graphics? Check. -Occasional bugged landing physics? Check. -Unnaturally wide grip steering? Check. -No additional ways of getting Boost? Check. -Only a single camera view to work with? Check. -Inability to drift at all? Check. -Made by the developers of the highly infamous FlatOut 3? Check, check, check-itty check! Absolutely boring, content isn't really that much. Credit is where it's due for the amount of customization options, but you'd have to trudge through the simple AF gameplay and easy-a$$ racing and it just gets really boring after a while, even on Elite difficulty. I got this at a $10 sale, it's not worth $50 at all. Save your $50 for something better like the Hot Wheels Unleashed games, Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered, Hotshot Racing, Wreckfest, or even Gas Guzzlers Extreme. Maybe much better racing games by GameMill. You'll be doing yourself a huge favor for your $50. Also the Project-X Pack is only sold with the game and not individually as an add-on DLC pack? A business decision like that only adds more fuel to the fire. If they release it as an individual pack, it should be like, $5 max. And even then, the pack contents itself aren't notable to comment on. To top it off, the Boost Meter is copied straight from DiRT Showdown... This is another example of Team6's incompetence on making racing games. You know, this game in particular makes me question why they haven't kicked the bucket yet. Another example of Team6 failing to redeem themselves once again. I'll probably complete this game 100% much later if I feel the need to do so. But until then, I'm just gonna leave this one alone for a while...
I am so glad I got this 85% off during the Winter Sale because this isn't worth the full $50-$60 price tag. I was on board with the concept of an arcade-style NASCAR game, but this is no Daytona USA or NASCAR Rumble. The graphics are pretty so-so; the cars look rather meh, and the tracks try to incorporate some eye-candy but some of them contain creative choices that don't make a lick of sense. I'm a fan of the synthwave aesthetic myself, but why would they go with that look in Kansas of all places?! And the game provides little in the way of obtaining nitrous. Sure you can build up your nitrous meter by hitting orange boost pads, but the amount they give at a time is smaller than a Lambo owner's penis, so you're better off conserving it as much as possible. Try doing this while fighting for 1st place with AI that tends to bump into you the moment they catch up, especially if you happen to be playing on Elite difficulty. There's basically no variety to speak of outside of that (unless you count Time Trial mode), so by the time you finish all 9 cups it becomes a total drag. And as for the online mode, good luck getting the achievements for that because this game's multiplayer is dead as a doorknob. In fact, according to SteamDB as of me writing this, the game peaked at just 5 concurrent players. FIVE!!! Let that sink in. If this was just a budget title that only cost five bucks at most, I probably would've given it some mercy. But for the full price that they're asking for, it's pretty unforgivable. It may not be the worst I've played, but I don't feel like coming back to this one anytime soon.
