I love the Nancy Drew game. I played many as a kid and have continued to do so into adulthood for the nostalgia. This one was one of the few I got as a Christmas present one year during high school. I don't remember being this frustrated by it. Even now, I struggled with understanding some puzzles and had to look up hints. The story wasn't as captivating as the others either. Though, I do have a soft spot for Pa. I'd say this game is better for those familiar with the Nancy Drew games. If you're looking for a game from the series to play first, I'd recommend so many more.

A classic Nancy Drew game that you can never go wrong playing. ♥
A lot of people argue that this is the most boring ND game, but personally, this is the only one I ever let new people start on. The story is easy to follow, Debbie sending you to bed when you're done for the day helps prevent you from getting stuck, the characters are fun and have a lot of personality (I <3 Pa), and the puzzles have a nice range in difficulty. In my opinion, it is the best ND starter game. It's the one that got me obsessed with ND in the first place and it's one of the few I play over and over and over again. It's easily one of my top 5 ND games and I can't wait to play it again :)
IDK why the reviews are mixed, this is a comfort Nancy Drew game to me. 100% recommend

I liked the story line
The story was pretty boring to me compared to the other nancy drew games plus you do alot of chores that has nothing to do with the plot
Good puzzles to solve! But quite a short game. The environment is nice too, but the dialogue is a bit mean towards Nancy!
