Spooky, great soundtrack and voice-acting. Gave me the heebie-jeebies
Haven't played all the games, but this one stuck out with some of the more challenging puzzles, several of which I WILL be stealing for a DnD game at some point, especially the cairn-compass puzzle in the swamp. Though some parts of the last act threw me and weren't quite my sort of thing, I did enjoy it overall!
One of my favorite titles. Spooky and fun, with a lot of interesting areas, characters, and puzzles.

Liked this one okay. Definitely the first half but this story is SO DUMB and the ending is the worst. Like what was that? And it just seemed like Nancy and Kyler didn't have a "made of honor" type relationship. I feel like when the story isn't written well it really messes with things. It had some good things but it also had some not good things. I'm glad played it through once but it isn't one I'd be quick to revisit because some of the others are so much better.
As implausible as this one is (especially the ending), it was still satisfying. I really enjoyed playing it, and loved the twist! There are several challenging puzzles, a different way to get hints, and a couple of red herrings that now I think maybe were supposed to lead to Easter eggs (I didn't get those)? There was one very tedious puzzle near the end that was frustrating, but it's doable if you take it slow and think ahead before grabbing things (I recommend saving the game a lot here). If you get stuck early in the game,
make sure you've *fully* explored the grounds (but be careful near the cliffs so you don't fall). For instance, for one of the flowers, take Nancy's right at the gate instead of the usual left toward the bar. It's the only time you'll need to go that way there.
This game has MAJOR improvements over the last game for those of us who are achievement junkies. Instead of the game forcing you to do certain time-locked things in a certain order, everything is accomplishable in one go-around! The plot was interesting, the characters were a hoot, and everything came together really well. I'm a little fed up with chasing sheep, but that's just a day in the life of a detective. 7/10.
its cool
I recommend it because Nancy Drew games are just great in general. However, this one is the one I liked the least so far (I have played 5 total). Some puzzles are just too difficult or involve a lot of manual stuff back and forth or else while being hard they do not have any relevance to the story. The last one involving the chemical elements is just too much of back and forth mouse work, for too long.
* eerie wailing * You really just gotta go in blind for this one. * eerie wailing *
