This game was even better than I remembered. I love that you don't have to skip back and forth between night and day, that all the puzzles and games are manageable if you just look in the right place or try try again, and there's a nice selection of people to talk to both in person and on the phone. I loved ordering room service just for funsies, and of course solving riddles from MILES the magnificent memory machine! What a character. A top 5 game for sure.
The Haunted Carousel is a fun game to play, and it is rather quick to finish. The game can be finished in one day. It's a pretty good game to play if you want to play something, but don't have a lot of time to sink into it. The puzzles in the game are pretty easy. I never found myself getting stuck on a puzzle for very long. Nancy Drew games are also very forgiving. If you should ever get a game over only to remember that you have not saved in a while you can always use the Second Chance button at the save menu to have the game drop you off right at the point before you made your mistake. This game is a pretty good way to introduce younger players to the Nancy Drew series since it isn't too hard, or too scary. My only point of complaint is that I did seem to cause a break in the game that made it so I could not ask someone something, and so I could not continue the game. I was able to get around this by reloading an older save. This only happened to me once, but I thought it was worth bringing up. Other then that though I had no issues playing this. While it is one of the easier games in the early entries of the Nancy Drew series I do think it is worth a look.

I did not like some of the dialogue options or reactions of some of the characters, seemed a bit childish and illogical, but overall it's an interesting story and cute puzzles. Keep in mind that this game is based on books written for teenagers. It's an old game, but works fine with help from dgvoodoo.
someone tried to kill me in a children's game. 10/10
Nancy Drew: Haunted Carousel is a solid, nostalgic mystery game. The puzzles are fun, the spooky carnival setting is great, and it’s the perfect length for a quick adventure. Fans of the series will enjoy it! P.S.: Remember to turn the iron off.

this game is the perfect mix of mystery and fun. super addictive in a good way, and perfect for young minds. i would recommend this to anyone who wants a game that will take time but with a twisted ending! for me its a 10 out of 10!
I love Nancy Drew, this was my first time playing this one. I found it pretty intuitive. I love the vibes of the game. My six year old daughter and I play together sometimes and she LOVES it.
An oldy but a goody. It's still a solid entry in the series, with a lot of fun moments.
