Nancy Drew®: The Final Scene

Good game in the series storywise. Great narrative with a tense ending. Dialogue choices will affect the amount of information you are gaining. You can either be completely clueless about who is the villain until the end of the game or can have some great number of inconsistencies from suspects. On the other hand, the location feels empty. Too many zones without anything useful. The character models are not improved compared to previous titles. Movement control is also not that great and sometimes is quite frustrating. Nancy Drew voice acting is way too exaggerated. The game also has obvious bugs, like ND clock artifacts, phone numbers are not listed when calling, etc. By the way, it has like 25 phone numbers scattered around the theater, but only 5 are "working".

I'm a fan of all the Nancy Drew games, but this is one of my favorites. It's classic point and click and adventure with some mystery and puzzles.

Not so many puzzles but I enjoyed the story.

One of my favorite classic Nancy games. It has a cool old theater, great music. There is a lot of detective work that makes you think, but it's not too difficult. This game is full of nostalgia for me, but it still hold up as great game maybe years later.

A very fun addition to the Nancy Drew collection, The Final Scene has a lot of nostalgia for me because it's one of the first ND games I played and beat as a child. Even now replaying it as an adult and knowing who the culprit is, I still had fun watching the story unravel and picking up hints along the way I didn't notice when I first played. The atmosphere is nice and the characters are fun if a bit stereotypical. There's a real sense of urgency in the final chapter of the game, which makes your hunt much more realistic. A definite recommend!
