One of my favorite games in the series. Spooky atmosphere and unique plot.

Fun game play and puzzles. Love the spooky atmosphere.

The puzzles are fun and challenging but you have all the information if you just look around. The characters and the storyline were interesting. There are a few surprises along the way but if you mess up you can always start over at a saved point if you miss something.

I'm not one to frighten easily, but this ND game definitely stands apart from the rest for its creepy and sometimes scary atmosphere. It's not in the realm of horror games to be sure, but I had more than enough moments that made me jump or made my skin crawl. Nancy also seems a lot more mature in this game, as if her character has finally aged a bit. I enjoyed hearing that in the voice acting and dialogue. The stakes are also much higher in terms of the story. This isn't some hokey "who stole the cookies from the cookie jar?" mystery, there's much more to the story than other ND games. Definitely a must have for any ND player!
