I recommend using eduke to play this.

Right now the only reasonable way to experience NAM is to run it through the EDuke32 environment, an external download which vastly enhances and unbreaks it. This old game has RNG hitscan up the ass and every map is absolutely filthy with hidden preset mines and enemy spawns that you're going to have to memorize. Set your expectations properly and you should be able to at least beat the game on Boot difficulty. Read a guide or two just so you understand the controls, the original game came with a manual that did the same. The multiplayer exists, but is best experienced through a literal webpage that doesn't involve this purchase. This is not a great game, not its developer's finest release, and was already inferior to older games when it came out. It's extremely stressful at all times. Loads of fun when things go well though.

結構おもろい。1998年ってもうFPSが3Dに突入してきたときに出た作品。 大体どれもSFで真面目に戦争を再現してるゲームはあまりないので、新鮮。 しかしベトナム戦争をリアルに再現した結果、理不尽さも再現してしまったので、DOOMのような爽快ゲーではない。ベトナム戦争をBuildエンジンで体験してみたい人におすすめ。
