Even though the story is generally interesting and the graphics, music, and voices are good, and most of the puzzles and hidden object scenes are fun, I can't recommend this game because some "twitch" parts of the game are extremely difficult to do with a mouse (which makes me think this was a phone game). For example, the sliding thorns puzzle is excruciatingly difficult with a mouse and the fight scenes with the thieves are very difficult. I also didn't like the hidden object puzzle that kept getting obscured with darkness every few seconds requiring me to click three times to clear it up before finding a couple of more objects before it obscured again. Plus, I didn't like the Simon-like follow the bells sequence where bells switched position after showing me the sequence. (I hate Simon-style games.) On top of all that, there are a few HO puzzle clues that are bad, such as "pitchfork" where you have to click on an ash shovel that is labeled as a "fire poker". The best thing about this game is that the map is really useful because you'll need it to figure out where to go next because a lot of the time it is non-obvious.
One of the good ones, as hidden object adventures go. Very enjoyable atmosphere and unfolding story (unlike the typical ones that make you wish it was just bare puzzles); not exactly going to be novelized, but still a positive element. Decent non-hidden-object puzzles. Nice artwork throughout, especially the hiddens. A few annoyances: A bit short (by my reckoning; some will find it just right). Awkward controls for several minigames (a match-3 where you cannot slide the cursor rather than clicking one tile then the other separately -- c'mon!). Please don't make us do hidden object puzzles one object at a time (this is only occassional, but still too often).
I had so much fun playing this game. Great story line, good graphics and sound. The hidden object games were a lot of fun and the mini-games were challenging. Well worth the money.
I really enjoyed this. It's really on par with Artifex Mundi games. Don't really understand why it has some bad press. Play it if you're into Hidden Object games. That's all there is to know!
love hidden object adventure games, but this is hidden object after hidden object , not a lot of adventure it's so padded out with ho's it just got tedious, I have played it before and I just gave up in the end, I have tried it again and done the same thing. don't bother with this game If you like your adventure games.
Works on Win 11. Wonderful HOPA. Music, acting, artwork, story that ties together. One of the good ones.
Bastante bueno.
Having played just about all of the Artifex Mundi games available on Steam, I was really hoping this would be a new option to fill my desire for a casual puzzle game. Unfortunately, I just can't recommend this game. While it follows the same basic elements of all hidden object games, there are quite a few issues that make this game frustrating instead of fun. All of the hidden object scenes only give you a certain number of objects at a time, and you can't find objects until they are on the list. In some cases, it literally only gives you 1 object at a time. Combine this with re-using the same hidden object scenes several times each, and they get dull. When you have a hidden object scene that is obscured, and you have to rapidly click to clear the fog, only for it to return before you even have a chance to look the scene over adds nothing fun to the game. Its quite the opposite really. Many of the minigames are frustrating instead of fun. Puzzles that have 1 exact solution, and if you accidentally twitch your hand at the wrong moment you have to reset and start over. Or worse, the 'follow along' puzzle where it shows you the puzzle and then swaps the objects to click on. This would be frustrating enough, but there is absolutely nothing to distinguish the objects from each other, so following the pattern after it swaps the objects around is more about luck. Several times, important areas overlapped each other, so you miss that something is there because it seems to be part of the other area you need to click on. Overall, if this game was free I'd say play it. But there are simply too many frustrating elements to be fun. Unfortunately, you don't hit these frustrations until you are too far in to get a refund.
Fairly good hidden-object game, with relatively smooth gameplay, typical but intuitive puzzles (mostly), HO scenes of various modes (search by objects name or silhouette), nice graphics and music, and not a bad voiceover. Gameplay will likely last only an hour or two as the game is really not difficult, but newly added achievements may add to some replayability as you need to finish the game at least twice to get all of them. Good for avid HOG players to add to their collection.
"Myths of Orion" niewątpliwie należy do tych najlepszych z tego gatunku gier.
