Writing as someone who's played a lot of Dominion and deck-builders in general, this is... okay. A lot of the core set are basically Dominion cards with a rebranded name. However, there are also a lot of cards that aren't ported, and their balance is... rather poor. The "Draw 3, Return 1" card costs 5 when its equivalent in Dominion costs 2, and they have a "+1 Action, Gain 2 Money, everybody else draws" card which costs 3... Which is rather pointless when you could get the generic Gain 2 Money card for the same cost. I'm fairly sure their 'custom' cards are overtuned, to the point where a Big Money strategy will win almost every time. (At least, if not for the fact that there are functional Dominion card clones, and they're still at their original strength, making them a superior choice.) There's also the symbol overload. I can understand why you'd want to condense things down, but a lot of their symbols don't have a clear rhyme or reason behind why they were chosen, and new players are going to have a hard time looking at a random supply and parsing what 10 cards do when they see 13 different symbols on them. (This isn't an exaggeration - that's how many I had to try to figure out when looking at a random supply.) My biggest 'missed opportunity' gripe is that they really didn't design around the web medium. One of Dominion Online's most irritating parts is that whenever someone plays a card that requires interaction, the entire game has to stop until everybody responds. The same problem exists here - they had an opportunity to create things in a manner that smooths out turns, but they didn't take it. (Think of it as the difference between Hearthstone and MTG Online - whether you can just take your turn and look away, or whether you need to constantly pay attention and respond to every little thing that comes up.) I'm not the most fond of Dominion Online's implementation, but this doesn't do nearly enough to be a better option in comparison. It's playable, but I can't recommend it on 'playable' when the base set of Dominion Online, allows for more impressive turns, and is also free.

What started as clearly a Dominion clone has really become its own thing after several expansions and, much to my delight, has a really competent AI that can put up a decent fight with any random layout it's dealt.
This is Dominion plus some poorly-balanced fan cards. People sometimes say games like Ascension, Legendary, Thunderstone, or Puzzle Strike are "Dominion clones" because they copied Dominion's main rules, but those also have legitimate differences. This copies ALL of Dominion's rules, with zero modifications. Most of the cards are direct rip-offs, too. In my opinion, this is unethical; they're trying to profit directly from someone else's game design. But in case that wasn't enough reason to stay away, the cards that aren't stolen are mostly awful. They're the kind of things your friend would invent after playing Dominion twice; the concepts are vaguely interesting, but an experienced player could rip them apart in seconds. I guess no one on the dev team is any good at "their" game. Additionally, the UI has plenty of room for improvement, and the strongest of 4 AIs makes constant obvious mistakes, like sacrificing to get extra mana even when it has nothing to spend it on. This game, and this developer, are unworthy of your support.
То, что начиналось как явный клон Доминиона, действительно стало самостоятельным после нескольких расширений и, к моему большому удовольствию, имеет действительно компетентный ИИ, который может достойно бороться с любым случайным раскладом, который он имеет.
Mythical 10 из 10
TLDR : Mythical is a questionable knock-off of Dominion and not even a great digital card game. Don't waste your time on this. The best thing about Mythical is that it's free (for the base game). This may sound harsh, but given the wealth of good games out there and the endless discounts on Steam, one has to be demanding. In addition, this game has an uncomfortable smell of plagiarism. Mythical is a knock-off of the board game Dominion. Sure, some terminology has been changed. Mana replaces actions, Resources replaces coins, etc. But this is essentially Dominion. This replacement of terminology goes a bit further, in a sadly-funny way. The game uses Thing, Stockpile, Waste pile, Pick, Dump, ... to refer to Card, Draw Deck, Discard Pile, Draw, Discard, etc. So it replaces the standard terminology every gamer is familiar with by some new (and consequently less easily accessible) terminology. This is a basic mistake of game design. I don't know if they have the agreement of Dominion's publisher, or if they don't but know that they are at no legal risk anyway. The publisher's description of Mythical does not comment on this. Regardless, the changes of the names feel like a poor attempt to cover the knock-off. Leaving aside the blatant Dominion plagiarism, the game also has a couple of flaws. Notably : - poor graphics, - no ability to inspect the discard pile or the draw deck, - lengthy animations that contribute to game length. Your time will be much better spent elsewhere.
