This is a HOPA from 2016 with a straightforward story, logical puzzles and fair HOP scenes. I hate to say it, but that's actually better than most of the new-HOP-game-per-week stuff that's being put out in 2022. The length is appropriate for the story and the bonus chapter continues the story with new scenes and puzzles. It has a map that indicates places with stuff to do and lets you jump there, and a custom difficulty setting. Both are good things It's simple but well done. Also, the Dev's actually put in some effort: there are a few cases/bugs where it's possible that you might need an item you no longer have, or other soft-locks (according to the BFG forums from 2016). GOOD NEWS: if you do encounter one of these, when you close-and-reopen the game, the game checks to make sure you have you what you should have at that particular point in time, and adds anything to your inventory you might need. I did something out of order and this saved me from having restart from the beginning. Thank you dev team
The game itself was OK, not as good as others I have played by Big Fish, but I have already had to restart it part way through as I was unable to get a piece that would enable me to move forward, and this has happened again as I have lost Elf (the little dog helper). As it is near the end of the game Ive just given up. Very disappointed with Big Fish .
Buggy, over the top music for a casual game, and after 2 hours of gameplay my save was corrupted
excellent
I do recommend this one if you want a more chilled, relaxed HOG. But if you are looking for a more immersive storyline then this isn't the one for you. I'd recommend the "Paranormal FIles" series by Big FIsh Games here on steam! But overall 6/10! still pretty good!
Another superb Mystery Trackers game! Thing is, they are never boring! The mix of game play, mini-games and hidden object scenes is well balanced with logical solutions throughout. Love the running theme with Elf the dog! Highly recommended, especially if your an MT fanatic!
i had a lot of fun it was so cute
too many bugs to play with... for example, for one place where I choose to skip a mini game, I couldn't get the tool to solve another puzzle after skip, so I have to start all over again inorder to get that tool (this time I play the mini game myself instead of skip it). Another example, another place where I suppose to use my little doggy friend to climb and get a tool, but my dog is suddenly disappear from the inventory...
Another fun game of Mystery Trackers. The artwork was good and provided a distinctly creepy atmosphere. The interface was well thought out. The story was cheesy, but since when are HOGs not cheesy? At just over 3 hours the game is a bit short so, wait for it to go on sale.
dont waste your money, it's simply broken. the entire last level and bonus chapter you have to close the game and boot it again every like 3 to 5 minutes because your inventory suddenly locks, and you can only see a couple of items. it is absolutely aggrevating and the devs don't care so don't buy it!!!
