Mystery P.I.™ - The Vegas Heist

The same faults as all the other M.PI games have.

This is the first Mystery PI game I've ever played. I was definitely expecting hidden object disguised as a mystery game, and that's what I got. I haven't played through all the levels, but I agree with others who say it gets repetitive if played for a long time. That being said, if you're looking for a casual, old-school hidden object game, I recommend it.

Like the other Mystery P.I. title I have played, this one becomes a grind after a while. But hey, that's what I signed on for - those hidden objects aren't going to find themselves! I chose to play in Relaxed Mode, so no time limits and unlimited hints. If you prefer more of a challenge, you can set the options accordingly. For each level of play, you are tasked with finding 10 objects in each of 3 to 7 locations. At the completion of the level, you play a mini-game to uncover a clue as to where the stolen money is stashed. Repeat this loop 25 times. I've always found Popcap Games to be of high quality, and this one is no exception. The locations that you search are well illustrated and the game ran without an issue on my system. Highly recommended if you're in the mood for a no frills HOG from back in the day.
