My gambling addict friend said if I post a review on Myriad Hotel and it gets 350 likes and 150 Awards that he will buy me a case of beer and some vodka.. So I'm just gonna leave this here.
A downright fantastic game in every aspect! You can tell that the visuals have so much heart put into them. The many, many character designs are varied and lively with lovely little additions befitting of the character and the backgrounds have adorable details that make you want to examine them closely. The music and sound effects are nothing to scoff at either, they are unique and memorable. Additionally they are utilized very well, I haven’t encountered any scene where the music didn’t fit. Included in the soundtrack are some fun tunes and one of the antagonists has a really great theme. All the presentational aspects aside the writing is a lot of fun and overall good. I had a smile on my face all throughout the lighthearted and fun and sometimes even silly interaction, tears in my eyes during the more emotional moments and downright chills at times I don’t want to spoil. While this is a Visual Novel there is also a nice gameplay loop present with the different clients. Due to each of their striking personalities it hardly gets boring, especially if you do the extra clients as well which bring even more fun to the table. Additionally they may present some subtler parts of the worldbuilding every now and again. What completely seals the deal for me wishing for more though is the aforementioned worldbuilding. The lore you get served about the continents and individual locations, engaging magic system and even history and politics is extensive and engaging. Not to mention the mysteries left at the end of the game! It is also very real in some points that are brought up throughout the story, which can be applied to our world as well. The writing and worldbuilding of course includes the person you get to play, the Manager. Definitely an interesting character in their own right and a great choice for the player character! All this for free! A 100% recommendation from me and a definitive must play for all. Personally I will be on the edge of my seat looking out for further instalments of this world.

What a whimsical and zany cast of particular characters. A good game for me to play.
Myriad Hotel deserves all the recognition that it can receive. Just from the prologue you can tell how much time and effort went into this game. The story is expertly written, alongside all of the characters that it includes. It's writing has understanding of the games own atmosphere and acknowledges that, giving it the ability to truly connect with the player. I felt as though I was a part of the world, not in a common sense of superimposing myself onto who you play as, but in a way that made me feel connected to each aspect of this game. Which was helped immensely by the visuals. In this visual novel, the visuals are truly novel. Each character is so unique in their own ways, with so much detail and attention too in all of their designs. It's truly impressive given the amount of characters within' the game. This of course isn't even touching on the backgrounds. From the areas of the hotel, to the locations visited in by the hotel itself and through characters story quests, there's just so much. Truly stellar scenery, drawn expertly with little details and hidden things for the player to find. It's easy to tell a lot of time a effort was devoted to this portion of the game, so their artist is worthy of praised. All of this is complimented by the music, with each character and location having such catchy themes. Loved to the extent of purchasing the Soundtrack for the game. Smuglife, AgentXPresso, MrMaple, and even just the common music around the hotel. This game, even JUST the OST, has such replay-ability. It's world building, art, and music have so much love in them. Given that it's free, if you love fantasy themed visual novels, I wholehearted recommend it. Artchokers did an unequivocally magnificent job.
