About
You are a sentient fungus, reanimating the scrapped robotic body of a long-dead machine.
Cooperate with your friends to solve puzzles, defeat bosses, and clear dungeons. Join your friend's world bringing your character and items with you.

Dodge, block, parry, and engage the hostile tribes and creatures of the island. Master a variety of weapons, each with their own move sets and statistics. Equip yourself with armor that suits your playstyle and aesthetic.

Start with a decrepit, moldy frame. Replace it to overcome the dangers of the environment, support your combat style, or enhance elemental effects. Expand your stamina, boost the integrity of your frame, and increase the potency of your fungal magic.

Infuse yourself using the elemental power within each fungus. Combine effects to produce explosive results. Use fire to burn your enemies and scorch a path through barricades. Cast healing water to rejuvenate your friends and block roaring flames. Call upon the spiritual essence of the world and empower your allies.
Jump, air-dash, and mantle over obstacles. Hone your platforming skill and discover new pathways across stony cliffs, burning magma, noxious mangroves, and spore riddled chasms.

(playing since playtesting and getting the key from devs) the game isnt at max performance but seeing how well its put together by like three dudes it is super well done and worth getting, the souls rouge like function super well together and the replay ability especially with friends is so rewarding. i cannot wait to see it at 1.0
For the love of all that is holy, why are there STILL games these days that don't let you rebind WASD ?
This game is amazing for a souls game! All i can say is wow. When it comes to souls i think of near impossible but this makes a amazing impression on new souls players like me. so in my thoughts, and take this with a grain of salt, it's the best souls game in a hot minute
MycoRelic is one of those indie gems where the soul gets your attention and then the gameplay gets you hooked. The world, characters, and lore tidibits that the devs are building all add up to be greater than their parts. Have made it through all of the content available in ~20 hours while taking my time, but I will absolutely be playing again with every update as the devs add more. Its mushroom bionicles beating the ♥♥♥♥ out of eachother and its great. There are some rough edges that need work, but this is an early access review so I am not that surprised. Animation bugs locking you in place, getting stuck on random terrain, location based triggers messing up. There are also a few systems that feel like placeholders for later (e.g. healing items, some weapon attack chains). I am curious to see how dense with detail the final release of the game will be and how many more areas we will get, right now some parts of the map have nothing in them. Have spent all my gamplay time so far solo and the difficulty is just right, enough to punish spam/mistakes and encourage build experimentation.
I love this game! The way you can switch builds really smoothly and the variety of weapons and armor and the updates have been amazing
would be 11/10 if the developer would sell 3d prints or our characters
its pretty fun, but the movement is a bit off sometimes
A phenomenal little souls-like, great world and atmosphere along with a cool body part mechanic. Had put a bunch of time getting everything during the demo and picked it up as soon as it released
Honestly really fun, lots of room for growth. only cons: The path to open the front gate was kinda rough but im not the best at these types of games. the guy with the sword was insane at first. it took me about 3 hours to unlock the front gate thing. But I really liked the challenge that it posed in trying to find new gear to upgrade. I think it could be a little easier to get to that point, or maybe add another short cut? but again i'm not the best at these games so take that with a grain of salt lol. I cant wait to see how this game develops and grows! i also cant wait to play again. I streamed it, this like will prob expire at some point but here it is incase anyone wants to see the gameplay (and see how bad i am at it lol): https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2758556776
MycoRelic is a soulslike RPG, with many of its own elements that make it distinctly unique, and helps move it away from the pure-soulslike identity people are used to. You will find that you can swapping body parts with other options for additional stats and passives, among other bonuses. The game recieves frequent major updates that reimagine its world, environment, gameplay feel, and content structure. General polish as well as new additions make each update incredibly exciting and with the sheer amount of changes, re-exploration always feels rewarding and exciting. The visuals of MycoRelic are distinct, including it's mix of gradients, voxel displacement - it blends together flat colors and doesn't rely on textures to look super pretty. All together it works well to form an incredible style I've not seen many other games pull off very well. The multiplayer experience is so much fun as well, it's seamless and functions as you'd expect. No bs with getting disconnected on death or requiring summons nor do players leave after bosses die. I have done various playthroughs with both of my brothers, and its just as chaotic fun as it was the first time.
