My Pet Rock is a top down planet defense with rogue-lite, bullet-hell, and arcade elements. You are tasked with defending a rock against endless waves of miners and other hostile enemies, as well as fighting difficult bosses. Game play becomes increasingly harder and chaotic but more rewarding as you progress.

Though the learning curve is unjustifiably steep for a game that just isn't that great, My Pet Rock is enough fun on a fundamental level to serve as an occasional diversion. The shoot-em-up/planet defense hybrid provides for some satisfying action, though its overall enjoyability is plagued by a few glaring problems. First, the controls for moving the ship around are horrendous, and so the strategy becomes positioning yourself in an advantageous enough spot at the beginning of the wave to avoid moving around at all costs. Second, a bunch of the upgrades aren't that useful, and you won't know which are worth purchasing without a lot of experimentation. Finally, success is completely dependent upon being lucky enough to get the right item drops, and avoid the wrong ones, which (again) requires a bunch of experimentation. When you ARE lucky, though, the sheer firepower at your disposal is grin-inducing, and those rare moments are worth all the crappy instances you'll slog through to get there.
https://youtu.be/GH3F6UVqJ4I The large amount of depth in this game is hidden under poor UX and unclear feedback loops. The basic ship controls are weak while the enemy AI is overall too simple.
Amazing game
Pretty basic stuff, I don't think it's worth paying for, there's better free games out there. It works, but not enough is explained, some upgrades seem to have no effect and it gets repetitive fast.

If you have some money to waste, go on. But it gets boring very quick.
The game is okay for what it is compared to its asking price, but it needs a lot of work if it wants to be anything more than that. You can't remap any of the buttons, there's no way to switch keyboard layout (if you use AZERTY keyboards for example) and there's no controller/gamepad support either. This makes it almost impossible to play for those whom are left handed or disabled. The game throws you right into gameplay without explaining what any of the upgrades or buttons do and I'm pretty sure I didn't see any tutorial or information screen.
Cute game, really could use some controller support for causal gamers in their house.
klasik bir shoot em up oyunu kule savunma demişler de bence alakası yok
A fine rouglike-ish game with upgrade system and permadeath. Pretty glitchy at times at not the best game to look at, but it has its charm! Give it a try!
