My Little Sister Callie

[b] My Little Sister Callie [/b] is a short, wholesome, but also sad VN about saving your little sister from a lawless refugee camp. The game was able to package a really nice emotional experience into a short, around 1.5 hours long, story that shines with its writing and storytelling. The concept of the story is quite simple, but made in a very authentic and wholesome way with a nice happy ending. If you are a fan of short stories with drama but a positive vibe, then this is exactly that. The art and everything around the VN isn't special at all, but it doesn't have to be as the story, which is the focus, and tbh, always should be the focus, really hits home with me. There is also a small soundtrack of background music, and there aren't any bugs or writing mistakes, which is nice, especially since the game is very cheap. Overall, a really nice little VN that will be greatly enjoyable for anyone that loves cute children and a happy ending. As a person who played previous novels from this developer, I was looking forward to this one coming out, because I saw in advance how much effort was put into it. All my expectations were met. My Little Sister Callie is a visual novel for about 1.5 hours. I warn you right away that you should not expect any graphical miracles from it, but I admit that it is noticeable that this novel is really the largest of those that the author has made so far (I will hope to see more in the future). There are noticeably more locations compared to previous games, more poses shown for the sister's 3D model, her different hairstyle, few different clothes and even a 3D model for another character. I will also mention new music tracks that were not in previous games and which are in their proper places in this game, adding to the atmosphere. The story may be simple, without any tricky plot twists, but personally I found it extremely interesting. What was initially a simple chance encounter turned into a whole story about how the Main Character is ready to even risk his life to protect his little sister. The moments when he somehow calmed her down and helped her socialize were a nice addition and made the characters feel alive. [spoiler] Maybe I'm sentimental, but I was worried about the guard mentioned in the story. [/spoiler] The game also has two endings. At first, I thought that I would definitely choose one specifically of them, but when I tried the second one, I was pleasantly surprised and realized that I probably can't decide which one is my favorite. The game is definitely worth the money and I hope to see more visual novels from the developer in the future.

A short, heartwarming and suspenseful VN about saving a little girl from a life of poverty and despair. It uses fairly simple 3D models for the environments, but the character design has a lot of charm. The writing is great and the storytelling has an earnesty to it. I got the developer's entire collection for about the price of a cup of coffee, and very much enjoyed all of them. Warmly recommended!
