**Honest review of My Island** For a $3 sale game, I’m not expecting perfection, but this game still needs a lot of work. The idea is good, but the bugs are rough. The chopping animation looks off, especially the arms, and it glitches out every now and then. The inventory/tab system also gets confused sometimes, especially if you’re standing too close to a smelting machine or furnace. The biggest issue I had was with building. I made a house, put a padlock on the door, and then I could not open the door again at all. It was not because I forgot the combo. The door simply would not let me open it. I had to tear down a wall just to get out of my own house. I understand it’s cheap, and I don’t want to just complain over a $3 game, but if the game is still being sold, the basic systems need to work. Right now it feels like the game is falling apart because of poor maintenance. I would suggest the developers focus on fixing the major bugs first: doors/locks, inventory interaction, furnace/smelter interaction, and animation glitches. There is something here that could be fun, but it needs more work before I could recommend it.

Actually I playing this game because of my lovely girlfriend. She introduced me this game I think. Which is this game very wonderful game to play together. Survival thing is actually fun for me to play together. So far so good. But what make me sad is, is there any other way that we could make the character in the game getting naked and nudity??? :( So boring without it OMGGG!!

Après une heure et demi de jeu découverte le sentiment est plutôt positif. Il est certains que le jeu est loin d'être fini mais le prix est en conséquence et c'est le principe des early acces. Je pense que je vais attendre quelques améliorations pour rejouer avec plus de confort mais le but est de soutenir le développeur pour qu'il puisse continuer à développer ce jeu. J'ai testé aussi la V3 et la V4 et je préfère largement la V3 car je n'aime pas les jeux punitifs. Le jeu en V3 est cool et j'espère qu'il sera toujours possible de jouer en mode chill. par contre je n'ai pas trouvé comment accéder aux équipement de la barre d'outil sans passer mon clavier en UK. En tous cas un jeu très prometteur !!!

This game... I want to like it so badly, but it's hard to get into... The controls are not what you'd expect (also very confusing... even when there's a guide! I went to reload my bow... pressed R, nothing happened... until I unequipped and reequipped the bow??), the game is very unpolished, textures are not great (dude the logs on the log cabin are tubes... not logs), and there's a lot of grammar and spelling mistakes (like "trun off"/"trun on".... may not bother others, but it does bother me...). It would be so cool if the creator would open this up to steam workshop, and we could see what other people could add to the game! I think this game would be great, if it was still in beta. But it's been released for a year. I'd love to see more, but this is very awkward right now.

I bought this on sale for the price of a coffee, not expecting much, but figured it could amuse me for an evening or two. I actually bothered to request a refund, because there's no way the dev should be making any money with this. It's that lousy. Issues: Incorrect steam tags, beyond simplistic gameplay, no fps limiting, vanishing items, floating objects (e.g. trees floating waist high), laughable combat ai (when they don't just stand there), motionless birds, overall poor quality. This feels like a Unity game that someone worked on for a couple weekends. It's proof of Concept/alpha quality (sad considering that it's been in development since 2019).

Was soll man sagen. Also im Singleplayer klappt eigentlich alles Normal und Ohne Probleme. Ich meine damit die aktuelle Version wo auch etwas Grind Potential da ist. Man darf aber echt nicht zu viel erwarten. Wir haben es im sale von 2 Euro gekauft. Der Multiplayer ist absolute katastrophe, voller Bugs und Glitches. Ich empfehle nur den Singleplayer zu spielen. Es ist weder Abgrundtief schlecht noch wirklich gut. Aber es hat seine Anreize. Deshalb Empfehle ich dieses Spiel. Aber nur den Singleplayer.....
