My Dream Setup

Great game. Very chill. Some points IMO: -UI could be better, more sophisticated. less invasive. -pointer could be regular with regular size, for ease of creating -snap grid would be great -more settings and controls -controls could be better i feel that these items would significantly improve the experience and the flow of the game. i get its a "lofi"-ish, minimal setup builder, but could be better thought out.

[h1] Sit back & relax creative outlet [/h1] [h3] Summary ; TLDR [/h3] A simple game that has [b]fairly intuitive controls that need a bit more refinement[/b] in some areas. Has really [b]cool tools[/b] such as the blueprint mode to create your ideal space with a [b]great workshop community[/b] to add your own or others creations. [b]Clean visuals[/b]. [b]Not amazing music[/b] so best played to your own tunes. [h3] Game play [/h3] Quite simple, slightly intuitive controls but could be refined in some areas. I often get frustrated trying to select furniture - it selects different objects through walls so sometimes you have to be precise. Moving around the space with your mouse feels sluggish. I want to be able to zoom in and out with the object in my hand but I need to get rid of it then reselect it only to realise I need to zoom out more. This action is a bit tedious. Pressing esc should get rid of your windows first - your shopping, colour palette window and deselecting an object first before sending you to the main menu; which is quite annoying and ruins the cozy laid-back vibe. Sometimes items like doors, windows or any objects attached to the wall become transparent. I’d much rather there be an option for the walls to simply create a border than me having to navigate my camera so I can see where I’m placing an object. What I really love is the blueprint mode, super fun allowing more creativity. I also really like the workshop community this game has and how it’s grown throughout its lifetime. [h3] Graphics [/h3] Really clean and crisp, nothing to fault. [h3] Story [/h3] Nothing, but if you’re really imaginative you can imagine all the good times you could have in your cosy little dream setup. [h3] Music & Sound [/h3] I personally play with the music off and my own playlist. The music is very repetitive and annoying for me. There’s not much creativity in that department. [h3] Thoughts [/h3] Personally, it’s not a game I see myself actively coming back to. But, I definitely see the appeal of a creative outlet, making your dream spaces and vibing out if you’re that type of gamer. Maybe I’ll come back to explore the DLC in the far future.
