MXGP 24: The Official Game

Ignore the negative reviews. They're unwarranted. Yes, the graphics are acceptable, but could be better. But where this shines is the physics. You have to race motocross. You don't get to be a Marvel Superhero on an MX bike. In real life, I've been riding motorcycles, on and off road, for fifty-seven years. I first threw a leg over an MX bike back before the monoshock came about. I sold my final motocross bike, a Honda CRF450R, in my early sixties. If you want to race motocross, buy this. If you want to fly through the air with the greatest of ease, this ain't it. From my point of view, highly recommended!

Bad optimised, incredibly bad physics, stupid jumps on made up tracks. Absolutely not. Don't waste your money.

Keine Ahnung was jetzt all die schlechten Bewertungen auf sich haben, aber so schlecht ist das Spiel bei weitem nicht und ich habe jetzt alle MXGP bis auf das 3er gespielt. Ganz im Gegenteil, im Gegensatz zum 2020er und 2021er ist es realistischer. Bei besagten beiden Spielen ist das Bike viel zu zappelig und fast schon unkontrollierbar und die FPS-Cam ist ständig ausser mitte vom Bike. Das 2024er ist nicht das Beste, aber auch nicht das schlechteste MXGP, habe aber dennoch einen riesen Spass an dem Spiel ;-) !

HUGE LET DOWN NOTHING AT AL LIKE PREVIOUS GAMES. it completely lacks any soul, graphics are terrible. game play is OK, but the physics aren't great. i regret buying it and would only recommend playing if its free.

I dont understand all the hate this game is getting.. i listened to all the comments and refunded 3 times before gtting it for 11 dollars..the trick with this game is the right side joystick on xbox controler is the key...it leans the bike to save it almost every single time..without it you run off the track every single time-the sound is pretty bad with all the limiter going off but its way better then the mx vs atv legends..with all the milestone games its full blast all the way..i have and play them all including mx bikes exc...this game is a gem on sale and my fav and believe there is alot of jelousy going on here..its not an easy game but very challenging and fun.. a little clunky on physics but once you understand the right side joystick it all works ..hope this helps!

Love this game! Can play for days and hours! Gameplay is very good, the handling is great and lovely tracks! Can't wait for the next release! Thank you for making this! It would lovely too if a company make something a track in unreal engine 5 and built your own gamplay!

The game is okay. I don't think it's as terrible as everyone says, it's more disappointing. After 3 years from the last game in the series, you'd think they would take that extra time to come back with a game that has better graphics, sound and gameplay features. What you actually get is a bare bones experience that doesn't seem to do anything better than the games that came before. In terms of graphics, it doesn't really provide anything impressive. The riders lack detail and the animations are very basic. The tracks look okay, but the lighting can be vastly improved, especially during rainy weather. I still wish there was some more track deformation as the ground seems to be made of plastic as your bike glides across the terrain. Sound it very bland, not every exciting. You get the hum of your engine as your accelerating. No music during racing, environment and crowd noise is basically non existent. Whenever I play these dirt bike games I usually just run through the career mode. The career mode in MXGP 24 is annoying. For some reason you have to win races and complete objectives to gain money. The money is used to "buy in" into the next GP. That means if you screw up, you could potentially lock yourself out of the next race. There isn't a restart option during races, and if you leave before starting a race and your in a multi race GP, it automatically makes you retire. So far the game is quite easy, but I hear it can get more difficult later in the career. Performance wise the game works great out of the box. I've had issues with these bike games in the past but the only glaring issue so far is the micro stutter/choppiness when the camera pans during turns. No crashes or other technical difficulties so far. I still have to play more of the game for a final review score, but so far it's around a 5.5/6 out of 10. IMO the only other game in the series worse than this one is MXGP 2 for me. PS. I paid less than $5 for this game :P
