Every level demands near-perfect timing, and the game doesn’t hand out victories lightly. Precision is the name of the game, and even the smallest misstep often leads to a restart. There are no kid gloves here—just razor-sharp design that rewards mastery. The layered foreground/background jumping adds a unique twist, and every level is carefully constructed to push your reflexes. Controls are flawless, which is critical when even a single pixel matters. You feel in control, and if you fail, it’s on you. It runs beautifully on the Steam Deck and feels great in handheld mode, but don’t let the charming pixel art and upbeat chiptunes fool you—this is a platformer for the hardcore. [b]Achievement Difficulty:[/b] ★★★★☆ [b]Completion Time:[/b] Approximately 10–15 hours depending on skill and patience [b]Achievement Review:[/b] 100% completion means collecting every water sprite and surviving brutal ghost levels that demand timing mastery and zero hesitation. Simply made but difficult to master pixel arcade platforming game. Rising in difficulty, this game cleverly progresses into the harder levels, teaching the new mechanics until the player learns to pass them with precision, timing and accuracy. There are some levels with very tight gaps, yet almost everything has enough room for breathing and at almost no point the game seems unfair to do the specific task in the current moment. I like that most of the enemies in the game are able to be killed with the exception of the ghosts in the spooky levels, but even for them they have invented the special gun with 10 bullets that temporarily removes them. Lastly granny's secret levels, those are for the true hard-core challenge enjoyers and let me tell you - I enjoyed them. Definitely give this game a try. Certified banger

[b]Mutant Mudds Deluxe[/b] bring me back to the SNES era with the same retro pixel art, sound effects and music style. The level design is the right amount of challenging without it being frustrating and the transitions to fore ground and back ground are unique and fun. Highly recommended for retro platformer fans.

I played this game on 3DS before I played it anywhere else, and the game is almost exactly as I remember it. Overall, it's honestly a great indie platformer, and I'd highly recommend it. UPDATE: As of Oct. 18th, 2025, the memory leak issues seem to be gone entirely. I dunno if the game updated or a switch just flipped somewhere else on my PC, but all of a sudden the game runs smooth as butter. Really, pick this game up and give it a try!
