看评论区,这个对于经常玩这类推理游戏的人来说可能觉得推理或者剧情不够优秀,但对我这种入门的人来说刚刚好
What a wonderful game! I was pulled into its world without even realising it. I would sit down for a bit and suddenly hours had passed. I am still a bit shocked it took me 22hrs to finish it. It didn't feel that long at all.
An excellent Pheonix Wright-like set in early 1900:s China. At first I found the "chibi" style of the characters when you walk around and search for clues was a bit jarring compared to the pretty violent cases and the excellent highly detailed still images that where in all the dialogue sequences, but it's not a big deal. The setting was interesting and had a nice touch with the historical facts. games that want to educate you about the history in the setting is always nice to see. Great characters, an interesting plot that takes a few twists and turns you probably didn't see and all the cases are conected in one big complex story. One minor mark against it is that the game doesn't autodetect english, so you will have to click around a bit in the menu until you find the settings and can change it, anoying but again nothing major since it's an easy fix. There are also several subchapters within each case, so if you miss achievements or collectables you will not have to replay the entire case, always nice to see that. There is however one achievement that is a bit fiddly to unlock if you don's read chineese since 6 of the knowledge trivas are in a weird DLC chapter that's part ARG that has not been translated. But you can get them fairly easily by just clicking through all the text untill you have two specific choices, there is a post about it in the forums or you can ask and i'll help you.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This game is two things. It's like an Ace Attorney set in 1900s China, and it is a historical showcase of the time. The artwork and the overarching story capture the nostalgic and at the same time uncertain period of China emerging into the current era and its interaction with the outside world. The artwork is gorgeous, especially during the travel scenes of zoom out when the game is showcasing the environment in cities, villages, and rivers. The voice acting and translations worked well and they did a great job showcasing Chinese culture and history with little bits of information that are fed to us as the story progresses. Even the English parts are well done, they found some actual English voice actors who spoke well! The music I found pleasant and suited the scenes, I like the traditional instruments. The puzzles and clues are not too difficult and not too easy, they are just right and give a good sense of satisfaction. There were some parts where I had to use hints, but I didn't feel too bad about missing them. There were also some 'running' or 'sneaking' type sequences, short but thankfully can also be skipped. Overall - if you like Ace Attorney, I can definitely recommend this, it has that style, while it also retains its own identity.
Its a tightly bound and personal story. All the 5-6 cases have unique scenerios, circumstances and pair dynamics. All the cases has their own message, yet they have a general message that link to the overal message of this game. It is clear the game was made with a lot of passion. They also have english voices for their british characters and has an indian sargeant which is a cool diversity, which is rarely seen in other games depicted in that time period (Industrial Revolution in Asia). I feel like that treat non-chinese character with respect with only a bit of animosity from the abuse of British priveledge/power due to Britain having power over China as it was post opium war (I assume). There is only 2 issues. One is unfortunately the limitation of playtime content compared to one of their inspired work, Ace Attorney. Each of Ace Attorney's cases tend to have maybe 3-5 investigation and 3-5 trials. This case only has 1 investigation and 1 short unofficial trial per case. The only exception is the final case, which has 2-3 investigation and 2-3 official trials. In addition, the investigation are very straightforward. There are no red herrings clues and deductive segment. The mind palace is undeveloped as I barely need to use it. It felt more like a subtle hint area which guides you in case you get stuck during investigation. The character art is expressive and nicely designed. But small nitpick, I feel there is limited expressions. There is also the fact that they used 2D chibi for the characters when traversing the area. But I understand it is due to a limited budget as I presume this is a small indie game studio. My 2nd issue is the future of the game. As mentioned, this game is personal (both IRL and for the protag) so it is very hard for me to envision a great sequel as there might not be any personal drive in the future game. I am not saying I do not want a sequel (I will still buy it even if it an anthology of solving random cases), I am however saying the sequel might not have a personal stake thus negatively impacting the sequel's narrative compared to this one.
Not done yet- but this game is fantastic if you love Phoenix Wright type games. It's got history, simple murders, with satisfying progression and case solving. I just beat Chapter 3, and I love it. It's not flashy- but it's extremely satisfying. Update: Not only does the writing and the (wow) art-style shifts from fantastic to second-string hires in the later parts, but the translation goes from a few grammatical issues, to almost feeling like it went through Google Translate. Despite all that, I understood what was happening, and so it doesn't make me want to discourage you from playing it. It's a great ride- but the execution gets a little sloppy in the end. Still loved it, would buy sequels, DLCs, merchandise, whatever- solid game.
