About

Ace detective Guy and Cleo, the clue-sniffing dog, return for a spooky new stand-alone mystery! On an isolated Massachusetts peninsula, a social media starlet is found murdered at the historical site of a Puritan-era witch hanging. While most superstitious residents attribute her death to a local ghost legend, our detective duo is determined to solve the case before another murder happens. Is a supernatural curse bewitching the area, or is a human criminal responsible? Search for clues, interview suspects, explore a village with a dark past, and catch the killer.

Really fun murder mystery! makes me want to play the previous game in the series!
That sneaky ghost is gonna get ya lol good indie detective story.
This game was sooo amazing! I loved it a lot. And a nice hommage to Scooby Doo and Clue <3 Thank you so much for this game. Can't wait to play the first one and hopefully future ones ^^
An enjoyable sequel to a chill and charming detective game. Took me about two hours to finish and it was time well-spent.
Really fun art style and a lot of lore!
A nice follow-up to the original installment, with a few new features. The premise is the same: murder mystery / whodunit. You and your dog comb the area for clues and meet the suspects, taking notes along the way. If you're into Christie or Holmes and love classic pixel graphics, you're in for some fun.

Another good game in the series, it's off to a good start! I found the chase mechanic a bit tiresome and the plot easier to deduce than last time, but to trade off I liked the characters and many other mechanics more. I think I liked the first game more, but it's still a fun game that's well worth the price!
Another fun whodunnit in the Murder is Game Over series. I love the simplicity of these games, in the best way. You talk to the suspects, you find all the clues, you collect all the doggie bags and you catch the murderer. The pixel art is also very cute and playing as a clue-sniffing dog half the time is just a bonus. Definitely recommend!
A noticeable step up from the first game in most respects. The story is a lot more Scooby-Doo-ish; whether that's good or bad is up to you. For me, it wasn't a real enhancement, but it didn't bother me either. You can see the dev getting a little more into what the engine can do with the addition of easy and hard modes for a couple of elements, one of them a randomly triggered arcade-style chase scene. The characters are more engaging than those of the first game, though we don't get to know them very well (which is due to the shortness of the game, not any shortcoming of the writing). The BGM is way better too. My main complaint about the game's structure is that it feels lopsided in that once you meet all the suspects, there's not much left to do, and it seemed like Guy should have questioned some of the suspects about the final few clues. It's still very linear, too. But I think that's more than balanced out by the positives. I'm glad Hester got to share Cleo's poutine. I wish we learned what happened to her (adopted by Jill, surely?).
