Murder Is Game Over: Streaming Death This game is the second game in the Murder Is Game Over series. This time Detective Guy and his clue sniffing dog Cleo are solving the murder of E-girl Pearl. I was super excited to play this game! I loved the first one so I had high hopes for the sequel! And I did not get disappointed! As much as I loved the game there was one thing I just couldn't get over. Which is the fact they called the victim E-girl Pearl. They could've given her every other name! Literally anything would've been better. I associate the word E-girl with the woman who sells her bath water and it disgusts me. But since she's the one who got killed made it a whole lot better. Still tho, I had an instant aversion towards that woman. Just as I wrote in the review about the first game, the same problems I'm having here as well: - Walking with the arrow keys feels extremely off. I'd very much prefer it to be WASD. Because you also use your mouse so my hands are just too close to eachother. - It'd be nice if we could open the map with M instead of having to go to the menu first and open it through there. Achievements: They're all easy to get! You're able to do then all in one playthrough if you read them beforehand. I usually never do this and therefor most of the time have to do a second playthrough to get the ones I've missed. Overall I give this game a 7/10 Eventho the game has some things I personally would like to see different, it doesn't affect the gameplay and it's still perfectly enjoyable!

I did not expect to be immediately sucked into this game! I thought I'd play around with it for 20 minutes until my food got here, next thing I know, almost 2 hours have passed and I'm eating cold delivery! I really enjoy the intrigue, atmosphere and story. The music is on point throughout as well. The game play is simple and effective (I'm in my 40s, so this is great!) as well as being very reminiscent of classic pixel games from the 80s and early 90s. It's a perfect rainy day game!

I’m going to edit and repeat a bit from my review of the first game. I am loving this series of games. This game needs more reviews. This is a fun murder mystery whodunnit, where you play as a detective led around by your canine friend as she sniffs out clues, you talk to suspects and then figure everything out for the big detective reveal of the culprit. I went and found all 40 collectibles and went on the treasure hunt and it took me a couple hours. There are manual save slots and we can either use a mouse or controller now. I thought the price was more than fair and the game was a fun way to spend a lazy afternoon. I’m excited to see a new game coming out soon. I’ve already wish listed the next game and will happily buy the new mystery to solve. I recommend for those who like playing detective.

The story is gripping, well constructed and delivered at a nice pace, building suspense and intrigue as new information is gradually revealed through fun exploratory and investigative gameplay. The various suspects and supernatural goings on, as well as the various motives, mean there is plenty of misdirection to keep players on their toes and the retro styling does a great job of conveying the mysterious story, despite how charming it actually is! In my opinion, the game is low-priced for the experience it offers and I am more than happy to recommend it to fans of the murder mystery and point-and-click genres. Pretty cute little pixel art Who Dun It mystery! Very solidly put together with a fun story, decent sized map, and collectibles to boot! It was refreshing for me to not have been able to guess who was the culprit til the end, so good job writers! The music was great and was reminiscent of old school Zelda! If you enjoy a fun little laid back puzzler with Agatha Christie vibes that only takes a few hours to complete, this is a must for the murder mystery lover!

It's a fun, original whodunnit with a story that mixes elements of the occult with social media. I enjoyed the SNES-style pixel art. Recommended for murder mystery fans.

Yet another amazing game by this creative creator. Loved every minute of it. Zelda style 8 bit graphics that work perfectly. Bring a bit of nostalgia while staying fresh. Lots of characters, locations and cozy secrets to discover and uncover. Plus a real actual detective story that actually keeps you guessing until the end. Very well done. Really hope for more soon!!!

Really fun murder mystery! makes me want to play the previous game in the series!

Another great game from the Murder is Game Over team. I was a big fan of the first game - a very fun & nostalgic romp. This second entry takes the original formula of "Old school Zelda+Agatha Christie" and throws in some "Stranger Things" for good measure. A really fun game that can be tackled in one sitting (at least that's what I did!). Very much looking forward to the next entry.

I played the first game and loved it. So was very excited to find out that there's a continuation. And I think there's a hint that another game is coming as well? It's a fun, short murder mystery game, with some scary moments :-D Really enjoyable if you love pixel art games and whodunits
