Ace detective Guy and Cleo, the clue-sniffing dog, return for a spooky new stand-alone mystery! On an isolated Massachusetts peninsula, a social media starlet is found murdered at the historical site of a Puritan-era witch hanging. While most superstitious residents attribute her death to a local ghost legend, our detective duo is determined to solve the case before another murder happens. Is a supernatural curse bewitching the area, or is a human criminal responsible? Search for clues, interview suspects, explore a village with a dark past, and catch the killer.

Overall I liked it. Took about 2 hours to complete. Story was good and entertaining. Not sure if the chase scenes added too much, or at least the ghost spawn placement could have been better. On the narrower maps if he spawn in front of you, all you can really do is go back and keep reentering the map until he doesn't spawn. Though it really wasn't such a huge deal and I chose the hard chase option, so the easy option may have eliminated that issue. I look forward to their next game.
It's another casual, crime-solving game from the "Murder Is Game Over" series. You walk around to explore, question suspects and find clues to progress the story. The art is quite simple RPG-maker visuals. But the stories are fun and achievements easy... As I got the game on sale, it fits my usual motto to buy games with an 1€/1h playtime ratio.
The character swapping character mechanic is unique and fun. I like the atmosphere of this one. Fun game that deserves a play through!
great sequel to a great game. i've had more success solving it in the end this time (in hard mode). only one minor wrong guess. i'm already looking forward to the 3rd game.
This is a fun little indie murder mystery RPG that can take you up to about 2 hours to complete. There is considerably more content to explore compared to the first game. I completed all the achievements including the bad ending and got 41/40 doggy bags. The music is the highlight of the game. I love the creepy horror synth that kicks in as the ghost chases you. Great little game to play in between the big AAA releases. I'm looking forward to the conclusion of the trilogy! ^_^
Странная детективная игра про умершую стримершу, судя по всему она на рпг мейкере. https://youtu.be/2bOh3yZDjCw
This game isn't bad! It's quite short and there isn't much content to it, but the story ties together satisfyingly. The way it works is that you go around collecting clues and then you are asked questions at the end to make sure you understand how everything fits together. There's not a lot of deep thought involved. I think it's a fine casual game for fans of the detective/mystery genre.
"Murder Is Game Over: Streaming Death," is a pixel-art adventure that immerses players in a gripping murder mystery. Set in an isolated Massachusetts peninsula, the game follows ace detective Guy and his clue-sniffing dog, Cleo, as they investigate the death of a social media starlet at a historical site linked to a Puritan-era witch hanging. Pros: Engaging Narrative: The storyline is compelling, weaving together elements of superstition and detective work that keep players invested in uncovering the truth. Charming Pixel-Art Graphics: The game features detailed pixel-art visuals that evoke a nostalgic feel, enhancing the eerie atmosphere of the seaside village. Dynamic Duo Gameplay: Playing as both Detective Guy and Cleo offers unique gameplay mechanics, such as Cleo's ability to sniff out clues inaccessible to Guy, adding depth to the investigative process. Cons: Limited Voice Acting: The absence of voice acting means that all dialogue is text-based, which may detract from the immersive experience for some players. Short Playtime: With a playtime of approximately 2-3 hours, some players might find the game brief, potentially leaving them wanting more content. Simplistic Puzzles: While the game offers a variety of puzzles, some may find them lacking in complexity, which could reduce the challenge for seasoned adventure gamers. In conclusion, "Murder Is Game Over: Streaming Death" delivers a captivating mystery with charming visuals and engaging gameplay. Despite its brief duration and some areas lacking depth, it offers a satisfying experience for fans of detective adventures. Score: 75 out of 100 magnifying glasses—a sharp-eyed investigation with a few blurred details.
I wish the developers would give the option to use WASD instead of arrow keys (changing characters could be C for change instead of S for switch) or even better, keymapping. Also, the map is nearly unreadable with tiny neon text on a black background. And there's sooo much empty space to wander around in search of doggy bags. Nevertheless, I enjoy interviewing all the characters and solving the mystery at the end, and for only $5 I think it's a worthwhile way to spend a few hours.
