i finished this 100% once on gamepass and liked it enough to come back and do it again. i should have it wrapped up on steam in another couple of hours. + looks and sounds incredible. seriously. it’s not a system crusher and it doesn’t need to be because of how polished and stylish it is. if you are an old nerd you will be hooting and hollering about everything you experience while this game is running. + plays mostly immaculately. every once in a while i get killed because i got stuck on top of an enemy, but usually a run ending is my fault. + the difficulty curve is perfect. it’s demanding and by the end you’ll be shocked you ever struggled on the early floors. + correctly states that the very wealthy are not human beings. - i’m not sure that the weapon upgrade system adds anything other than a bit of playtime padding. upgrades are objectively better than starting forms, and since they’re permanent the time you’re forced to spend with inferior gear is an annoying speedbump - the weapon balance is very poor. i’m sure the game is possible to complete with the railgun or plasma rifle, but that sounds miserable - there is a no-timer mode for children and the mentally disabled. it’s not fun, but since there are unlocks gated behind it you do need to play it if you want everything. even though it’s sort of interesting to see a different (and much worse) version of the final game, it sucks the negatives are hugely outweighed by the positives. i promise. go buy it and play it immediately.

Every market we collect.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

An addicting high-paced action game with plenty of movie and anime references to keep you entertained, plus the art and writing is good
Controls like unwiped ass. Looks neat for the full 5 minutes the game takes to finish.
Overall, an enjoyable, fast paced boomah shootuh with great graphics. The weapon balance is a little lacking with some weapons being FAR weaker than others. I ended up using the Katana whenever possible and it was more fun and effective than the other weapons by a mile. (although it was more cumbersome against bosses which I think is actually a good trade-off). The overall experience, however, is pretty short. The game wants to spread its wings with additional difficulties and an endless mode but I don't think there's enough base content for this to be effective. No matter what, you'll be seeing the same enemies and using the same few weapons. I did try the endless mode but eventually got so bored of it I let the enemies kill me. The framework for solid replayablity is there, but the game would need more weapons and upgrades bolted onto it. I can still recommend MMT as a short, but enjoyable shooter with decent humour and great style but understand it is little more than that.
