With progressive unlocks, the levels become more difficult in terms of more frequent obstacles, ones that are more difficult to avoid, jumps that are tighter, etc. [h1]Controls[/h1] Game is only played with keyboard, you can move left and right with A/D or Left/Right arrows. You jump with Space, and you use Shift for your special power. R for restart. Game does not have controller support. [h1]Graphics and Music[/h1] Psychedelic and plenty of themes, levels are all individually designed, and they do look interesting to say the least. The music is quite repeititive. I don't know how many bars each track is, but I quickly unlocked another one beyond the first, because I just couldn't stand the first track too much longer. [h1]Audience[/h1] Everyone, for sure. If you like runners, this is a simple mindless one initially, but gets quite difficult later on. [h1]Pricing[/h1] Asking price is 1.99 USD, which is quite reasonable, I think. There is a bit of variability in the different characters because they have different special powers. The different running tracks that you unlock have different difficulty. The tracks may be randomly populated or a lengthy loop, I cannot tell. [h1]Positives[/h1] +Neat graphics +Plenty of levels +Unlockable characters that alter your play style +Reasonably priced +Easy to learn +No audience limitations [h1]Negatives[/h1] -First music track too repetitive and jarring -Hit boxes I don't always agree with (especially bumping into the side of a cake column from the side should not really yield a game over.) -Game allows for fast restart with the R key, but there's a significant delay between pressing the key and actually starting the run. There is a delay before the countdown, then there is a 3--2--1-- counter before each run starts. This delay can be (and should be) completely removed. Just let the silly character start running as soon as the R key is pressed! -Only keyboard controls (no remapping) [h1]Conclusion[/h1] [i]Mr. Sweet[/i] is an endless psychedelic runner with plenty of levels/track to unlock, with quite a few unlockable characters as well that alter your style of play. The game starts each and gets more difficult progressively. Certain score goals in each Campaign track will unlock the subsequent track. The game has neat graphics and is easy to pick up. It has also a reasonable price. There are a couple of flaws, but overall it's fun. It's like having a modified version of [i]Temple Run[/i] on your PC. But I have to say, mobile phones' accelerometer controls for those runners feel smoother in general than this game. Give it a try if you wish. I am having fun with it so far despite its flaws. Canabalt’s an excellent example, because the bizarre techno-apocalypse going on around you helps keep you focused on progression when smacking into windowsills gets old. You could say Mr. Sweet has a good hook for a runner, but it would be an unconventional one. The gameplay is perfectly solid and the colorful, linear worlds of junk food are both fun and challenging to get through, so it’s not super important that your runner avatars are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ horrifying. But hey, every little bit helps, right? You are Mr. Sweet, the bipedal set of mandibles charged with charging through world after world of deadly comestibles. I don’t know why you’re doing this, or why you can’t eat your way through donut barricades and eclair walls with your nightmarish teeth, but you’ve got to weave past the obstacles laid before you as best you can. Levels don’t have endings, you just run as far as you can while collecting coins and the occasional safe confection. Each level gets trickier than the last, but with a little (okay, a lot) of practice you’ll surely become a master of these tricky realms. As an infinite runner, you’ll find yourself speeding forward at an absolutely constant pace. It’s up to you to jump when necessary, and slip between the three parallel tracks leading off into the horizon to dodge barriers and traps. Starting out this won’t be too hard, but each of the game’s 16 levels adds one or more new hazards to deal with. They might be giant donuts to leap through, a gingerbread head with gnashing teeth to slip past, spinning blades, fireballs, or just looming gaps in your path. The controls are blessedly tight for these delicate moves, and tapping jump in midair lets you slam back down in a hurry so you won’t overshoot small platforms. Assuming you can survive the perils of this peckish place, you can go a little out of your way to snag coins and snacks. This currency is used to buy new music tracks from a shockingly good selection of techno and vaporwave, and new characters to embark with. Mr. Sweet has no special powers but the unlockable characters do, all manner of useful talents from absorbing coins remotely to devouring specific obstacles to turning intangible on command. Unlocks come at a fairly swift pace if you’re diligent about snagging coins and that’s good, mainly because you’re the DJ of this game and the musical tracks only change when you change them with your unlocks. It plays good and it sounds great, and it looks good for certain values of “good” as well. The graphics are sharp and colorful, with quite a bit of detail on every onion ring and spiked cookie in your way. It won’t take long to learn the spacing on everything thanks to the clear graphics, and there are enough variations between levels to make each feel unique. But you may notice odd details like rust on some metal obstacles, or blood on candied arches. It goes back to the horrific appearance of your avatar, a disembodied maw floating above nondescript pants… there’s a definite creepy factor to this game, and while it’s not overwhelming it can feel a little bizarre at times. I’m not going to call this a new classic of the runner genre or anything, but Mr. Sweet is shaping up to be a real treat. Between the solid gameplay and unique presentation, there’s enough going on to occupy any fan of these games for a few hours. The challenge ramps up in a reasonable way and after a few lengthy attempts you’ll find yourself flush with the cash for another upgrade. It does everything you need a runner to do, just with repulsive teeth people in a twisted candyland void, and honestly that’s a pretty good sell for me. Did you enjoy this review? 一款跑酷小游戏，操作玩法上都比较简单，总共三条路，左右移动加跳跃即可 游戏以关卡形式来逐渐提升难度，总体上不算太难，主要是后期关卡时间可能较久、需要一定的专注力 关卡中拾取的金币可以用来解锁新的角色和BGM，算是增加一些收集要素吧

I got this on the weekly steam sale and for a runner game it's actually not bad although it is a little on the hard side. By level 4 I was having issues as the placement of obstacles becomes much more difficult although I don't know if it was intentional. For a dirt cheap game it's got some fun. Nice and colorful graphics all candy and food related. There are unlockables and things you can buy with earned in-game currency. You probably won't play this very much but I find I throw it on every now and then just to try a run or two at the levels to see if I can unlock the next one. I think would be good on a cell phone, I'm not sure if it is already on it though. I looked for it on the google play store but couldn't find it. Anyways, it's an alright game for the price.

Наша задача пробежать как можно дальше и собрать как можно больше монет. За монеты можно покупать новых героев и дополнительные мелодии, а пробежав определенное расстояние, мы открываем доступ к следующему уровню. В игре 6 уровней с уникальным дизайном. Все они бесконечные и генерируемые. Бегите столько, сколько хватит умения, терпения и сил. Собрав денег, можно разблокировать новых героев. Они отличаются внешним видом и умениями. Чтобы разблокировать всех, придется изрядно побегать, пособирать много сладостей и монет. Отличный раннер, чтобы убить свободное время и испытать свою реакцию. В игре яркая графика, великолепные саундтреки и 9 неординарных героев.

Mr. Sweet ist ein gutes Spiel für zwischen durch. In diesem Spiel spielst du eine Figur mit Zähnen durch einem endlosen Universum. In diesem kannst du Münzen sammeln für mehr Charaktere oder Musiks. Um mehr Münzen zu sammeln helfen dir die Items, die dir manchmal 150, 200 (und villt sogar mehr) geben oder aber auch ein Magnet als Hilfe. In diesem Spiel hat man zwei verschiedene Modis. Das normale und der Fast Food Modus. (hab ich noch nicht gespielt.) Also gut. Hier kommt die Bewertung: + Gutes Level Design + Gute Musik + Verschiedene Welten + Jeder Charakter ist besonders + Sollte auf JEDEM Pc laufen Nun kommen die schlechten Dinge: - Naja. Mehr hat das Spiel auch nicht zu bieten. - Der Hintergrund ist langweilig. Das wars mit dieser Bewertung. Ich gebe 7,5/10 Punkte. [Bonus +: Es kostet unter 2 Euro.]
