Mr Sun’s Hatbox is a slapstick, roguelite platformer about getting the job done at all costs. Upgrade your HQ, your team, and your tools so you can take on increasingly dangerous (and ridiculous) missions, wearing hats with amazing (or questionable) potential.

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 23 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

玩一段时间主线之后都给我去玩那个生死战,那个实在是太欢乐太好玩了,昨天晚上笑的差点一口气没上来,今早起来了想起来又在那笑,主线先往前推一推再玩,不然不知道为什么不会随机武器和角色
what can I say? It's an underappreciated gem. Your recruits are as inept as the entire operation, and their negative traits you're forced to work with/around are hilarious. Gameplay is exactly what it wants to be, and feels challenging but never frustrating. Completionists will also find plenty left to do after the main story ends, but I'm not of that persuasion.
Mr. Sun’s Hatbox came onto my radar after I played and loved BALL X PIT. While it’s a very different experience, it clearly shows that Kenny Sun knows how to craft enjoyable and addictive gameplay loops. In Mr. Sun’s Hatbox, your character levels up, grows, and gains (or loses) a variety of positive and negative traits while collecting equipment and gear to complete each mission. Oh—and death is permanent. This ties directly into the game’s management layer, where you build a pipeline of heroes and weapons. Upgrading your base makes it easier to strengthen your team, which essentially becomes your next life. It’s a compelling loop that makes victories feel rewarding and deaths feel brutal. You have to stay on your toes at all times. I also appreciated the variety in how you can approach each level. You can go in guns blazing, take a stealthier route, or land somewhere in between. Each playstyle is viable, enjoyable, and comes with its own pros and cons. The game also ran perfectly on my LED Steam Deck and is an easy recommendation—you’ve got to pick this game up and give it a try!

Amazingly underrated game to play with a bud or partner
wow. what a bad game.
除了流程较短并不令我满意以外,也只有优点了
I didn't like it at all, but it doesn't matter. Because Kenny is probably already a millionaire by now.
