Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Experience the complexities and challenges of modern American leadership in this faithful digital adaptation of GMT Games’ acclaimed board game Mr. President: The American Presidency 2000-2020. Step into the Oval Office during two decades that transformed America and the world.
__BEFORE YOU BUY THIS GAME, PLEASE READ THE PINNED POST IN OUR FORUMS!__

Select your Cabinet and guide your administration through pivotal moments in recent history - as well as those that didn’t happen, but could have. What if the global financial crisis had happened earlier - or been even worse? What if violence in Central or South America escalated to create a cartel-dominated rogue state? What if outsourcing and automation, or an oil price spike, drove a domestic political crisis? Make the crucial decisions that will define - or tarnish - your presidential legacy.
Play any of the five historical scenarios as DLCs - one for each of the presidential terms from 2000 to 2020 - and see if you can do better than your historical counterpart. Can you pass Social Security reform in the early 2000s? Protect the world from a nuclear Iran or North Korea? Hammer out lasting immigration reforms? Or play the sandbox scenario, which represents the general trends of these two decades. In addition to dealing with diplomatic and domestic crises, you’ll nominate Supreme Court justices and shepherd their confirmation hearings; manage scandals; run your re-election campaign; work with Congress to pass your legislative agenda; and build a capable and effective Cabinet.
The digital version maintains everything that made the original board game compelling:
Over 150 different Crisis events, both historical and counterfactual
Specific action lists and agendas for America’s key allies and adversaries - no recycled gameplay that makes Israel and Canada seem the same except for the flag
Choose from a large menu of action choices at every turn - and agonize how to spend your limited action budget
Prioritize America’s strategic capabilities, from cyber warfare to space to intelligence gathering, always with an eye to America’s peer rivals Russia and China
But now you can focus purely on strategy, while the game handles all the administrative tasks that slowed down tabletop play.
Every table and action list you need is a mouse click away
Seamless board view that lets you slide effortlessly between the big picture and the crisis of the moment
Scenario setup in seconds
Whether you're a fan of the original board game or new to presidential politics, this digital adaptation offers the perfect blend of accessibility and depth. Make the hard choices. Shape history. Experience the presidency.

Oh lordie, this seemed a complex but intreging idea of a game. And it took learning I'd figure. Great concept, and was willing to make mistakes and learn. But it has glitches. Freezing, locking up at times. Overlays get frozen and won't clear blocking the play area. But time and again the worst part is it's own built in AI/RNG problems. Repeatedly the game has a nasty habit of having the RNG create death spirals where one moment you have the finger on the pulse of the world. And then suddenly the game is over, all due to a chain of pure RNG you have ZERO control over and no way of even preventing. While I could believe that as an occassional fluke, every play thru was a rinse/repeat of an RNG death spiral ending the game out of the blue. The fluke; as I can see after repeated playthrus; is actually getting through all four years of a term. The default is RNG death spiral each and every time. What a shame, it had so much potential for teaching and learning this simulation. Instead, it's an Edsel.
Fun, early release. Lot's of upside. The scripted die rolls feel plastic. and puts on tall guardrails preventing huge victories or catastrophic losses. Would like to see an option for instantaneous die rolls, and pass on die seeds.

Deep and narrative game, hard choices, never enough actions, great implementation of the board game. Fingers crossed for a full release.
This has been one of the more professionally run Early Access games I've been a part of. There is a clear timeline, regular updates, and the game is very quickly converging on the full experience that the board game is. The developers have been very responsive to bug reports, and have made multiple quality of life improvements to the game as well. The game is quite good now, and I have no doubt that we'll see the full game by the 31 July target date.
I have the board game and I know its a monster of a game .But a very much an amazing game .There is a lot of book flipping and chart checking and dice rolling and I am ok with that .But I just have to say that they have taken a monster by the tail here and streamlined the game so much that they have taken out all the book flipping and dice modifying so now the computer does all of that and allows you to make all the important decisions .I also know that this is still early access and the deves are very involved. There is still a lot to this game even at this stage .I would holy recommend it to anyone who likes this type of game
It's a great boardgame. Automating the boardgame removes the worst of the tedium. Bringing it to steam makes it playable in the first place for folks like myself who lack the personal space to set it up, and time to learn the rules. You win domestically. You lose on the World Stage. It's fun to learn. It's really fun once you start winning. and then the ultimate fun comes narratively from when you learn that losing is fun.
Good game, but hard to play successfully.
Great implementation of the board game and looking forward to full launch!
