Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 14 → 2.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Two paragraphs - first positive, second negative (negative in quotes maybe, just a couple minor gripes) Very good overall. My 26.7 hrs was one full run on normal. I would say it's worth the full $20, and if it's on sale for less even better. Have not bought either DLC. I am not a speedrunner but I could see this one being particularly enjoyable for those folks since there is lots of room for optimizing and not a ton of RNG. Very pretty level design, it is mostly 2D but there is some 3D aspect. Obviously Fallout Shelter was an inspiration but that is not a bad thing, FOS is great. Didn't personally encounter any major bugs, a couple times dialogue would get frozen and I'd have to reload a save but that was literally it. Performance was completely smooth, no lag on my not top-of-the-line machine. Story is very nice with some twists and good/unique/likeable characters. My two main complaints with this game are the combat and the quest guidance (a little, I'll elaborate). The combat is pretty awkward, maybe I should've messed with the controls but default is mouse clicking to move and Q/E to attack left/right which is a pair I'm not sure I've ever seen before. If that's a common control scheme for 2D games, esp 2D fighting games forgive me for I have not played many, but this is a case where imo the Fallout Shelter inspiration is clear (since there, mobile game, for moving characters you just tap where you want them to go). Either way WASD is not used at all by default for movement, it's all mouse clicking where you want to go (double click for sprint). Not the end of the world, just a thing I thought to mention. As for the quests thing I said I'd elaborate on, there were just a few times where you get a quest/objective but almost nothing in the way of how to complete it. For example, one quest had me retrieve a thing but to be able to do that I needed to craft a thing with materials I had never seen before. I spent several hours in a loop of just working on my bunker, exploring every place currently available to me, just kinda bewildered wondering how to get those materials and complete this quest. Eventually (minor spoiler I guess) I happened to level up trading with another character far enough that it unlocked the ability to buy items with that material (you can get materials from deconstructing most items). I'm not sure if there is any other way to complete that quest, so I did feel a bit 'stuck' for a while. There were a couple other instances, so maybe I'm just slow. Either way I got through eventually lol so oh well, not a big issue. Probably some of y'all would appreciate the lack of handholding in that regard, so this may even be a positive depending on the person.

Really grindy, doesn't respect your time. Game for the people who have too much time or a special interest to this subject. Don't buy unless on sale.

Mr Prepper is prepping for nothing. It never happens. wtf is the point?
I was pleasantly surprised by this game, not gonna lie. I was expecting it to be very low level, some silly quick cheap game, but it is actually pretty good. I love the concept of "being ready for the worst" even in real life. I always end up hoarding all collected items in every game, "just in case". This game feeds into that habit very well. It has very smooth level progression and is pretty easy to manage. It's very intuitive and guides you through pretty well. At first you feel a bit stuck, but very quickly you unlock many things that make you feel somewhat overpowered even. I immediately spent hours playing it. Overall I'd give it 7/10.
i am quite dissapointed . from the start i've had problems understanding what to do & how to do it, for example it says eat some food you have tins of soup & there is a cooker & a pan right next to the fridge cos youve also got cabbage in the fridge but oh no no you can only eat it cold & uncooked one single ingredient at a time so that makes sense why even bother having a cooker & pan right there right next to the damn fridge? but thats not the thing that got to me ...it says in this tutorial to go to the forest for 3 logs so you pick up 2 of them & the 3rd one you cant pick that up because it is too heavy so does this tutorial help solve this problem? no it doesnt , so i go back home & think i must have to dump the 2 logs here & then go back for more...no you cant do that because it doesnt let you unload stuff ...& in the forest it tells you to fix something thats broken cant remember what but its right there in the forest only you cant fix it ...in this tutorial it doesnt tell you anything else & you cant fix it so you need a handle & you can run around wasting more energy & time & getting more hungry looking for the handle or trying to work out what the game wants you to do next ...there is no handle there at all but there are paths but you cant actually go on them because he refuses to so i go back & forth to the house to the forest to the house to the forest ... still part of the not very clear & easy to follow tutorial,, then i think its been a while i better eat something again & i think maybe i need full food to pick up a heavy log...i dont know if i was right or not or what happenned if anything, maybe leaving & going back made the log change & it spaened a less heavy one...who knows, it is a guessing game because the tutorial will not tell you, then the tutorial in the dark back home starts telling you to dissaddemble 'something' only you dont have a something to dissasemble, you dont have anything in your inventory at all other than food which is very confusing because it makes me go to the fridge...50 minutes in & i have got a migraine coming on...im not joking about that, the game has given me a migraine, the text is odd & difficult to read, im on the steamdeck & it says it is supported but i dont think so because a lot of the time the left & right mouse trigger buttons do not work so you have to click on it about 12 times to get it to respond. i watched a video on this game before buying it & the video made it look like a great game but that just is not my experience or how i would describe it. the tutorial is awful & there are plenty of remarks accross the internet saying how it is confusing. i am quite patient but i draw the line when it gives me a headache & it doesnt help that he has thought bubbles moaning about getting back to the house or he wants to leave the forest...before you have completed the task. if the tutorial was fixed then it might be a better game , i cant see me playing it like it is , makes absolutely no sense, the ui is terrible & inputs do not work properly. when you open the fridge there is an annoying window box that pops up on the middle of the screen , theres nothing in it so it is pointless & you cant reposition it , drag it out of the way or close it because it closes the fridge even though there is another window on the right that pops open when you interact with fridge. if you dont mind wasting time going round in circles & getting nowhere for ages & making ten trips to pick up 3 logs then you might well like this game but i already hate it, i need to go lie down in a dark room now becauise the migraine is making me feel sick...thanks for that
не смог пройти туториал потому что непонятным образом проебал лестницу, а проходить заново в падлу. Игра понравилась
All the story elements for a great game are there, the execution just isn't. The controls feel like a mobile game, but unlike a game like This War of Mine the gameplay doesn't make up for it. If you want a mindless prepper base builder then this game is for you. Otherwise I would not recommend.
Extremely clunky game. Even removing food from the fridge was such an unintuitive challenge, I decided to uninstall the game instead.
