About
Move Code Lines is a puzzle game where you fix programs and make them print needed output. But the only way you can achieve that is to change the order of lines in those programs, and set custom input.
Find your way through a maze of code in more than 130 puzzles
Work with arrays, conditions, loops and functions
Change speed, or even pause execution, and watch programs working line by line
The most difficult levels require writing your own utility programs outside the game that will help you solve puzzles
Programming language that you will interact with is ChaiScript. It is very similar to Python and JavaScript, but it's another language.

This is not a 'game', especially not much of a puzzle game if that's what you're looking for. Sure, these are 'puzzles' but when the solution is limited where you can actually move lines it simply becomes process of elimination. You literally can't move lines any where you want making this game just more of a 'how did the developer want you to solve this' as opposed to solving it any which way. Additionally, most programming puzzles give you the input, in this game you have to supply your own input, which, neat, but it actually makes this less of a puzzle if you can just brute force answers. I would love to see something more puzzle like, like Advent of Code for example where they give you the input and expected output and then have the freedom to move lines anywhere you want because that's the biggest clue when you can't move lines. There is a note that you might need an external editor to solve some of these questions, and yeah, you do. The debugger in this 'game' isn't much and the fact that you can't type anything you want means you're forced to use an external editor. Might as well not be a game at that point
The game involves rearranging lines of code in pseudocode which is a mix of Python and C++. I recommend it for everyone starting their programming journey, as it serves as an excellent exercise in algorithmic thinking... ...or for more advanced users looking to refine and polish their skills.
Boring Puzzles. Complexity comes from nested loops of doom and correct console input which is not challenging or interesting at all.
