For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

COOL!
Amazing short experience dripping atmosphere and incredible disorientation techniques that keep the player on their toes, doesn't meet my standard of 1 hour per dollar spent criteria however I will say it is an exception this game packs so much in it's short runtime. Highly recommend 8.8/10

Mouthwashing is a very good game that does a lot with very little. Mostly it's just walking around to solve minor puzzles so you can unlock further conversations; the story being the selling point. It's very bleak, and difficult to discuss without spoilers, but I found every character to be excellent and the developing plot to be just the kind of material I like. It was sad, and left me thinking after the experience was over. It's helped along by really interesting visuals and sound design; and though I kept thinking "this would be an awesome movie" it really knew how to best make use of its format as a video game. I think the occasional input to solve a simple puzzle or just to refocus your attention was really helpful. It kept the horror alive, so I was kind of scared right from the onset and all throughout. By making use of its retro-esque graphics and fondness for pseudo-glitches, the game was able to blend a narrative well alongside creepy sequences kind of like a dream or hallucination. At some points I was amazed by the clever use of abrasive textures or fuzziness used to conceal aspects of the environment or to hide revealing information for later, alongside the constantly shifting perspectives. There was a few points where it became more "gamelike" in that you had to navigate a small maze or avoid some pitfall, but it never went on so long that I felt frustrated or taken out of the experience. Mouthwashing is just really worth playing for any horror fan, as it doesn't require much skill and the story is presented efficiently. I can see why the reviews are so phenomenal, and I agree entirely. One of the best narrative-horror walking simulators you can play.
