Premise This review reflects my personal experience with the game. While I aim to write thoughtfully and as fairly as possible, my reviews are subjective in nature and should not be used as objective metrics to assess/critique a game. I also curate a steam group which focusses on reviewing BL/Bara/MxM VNs. The story is tied to that move. You arrive with nothing, start working and slowly build both your farm and your place in the town. Most of what happens comes from who you choose to spend time with rather than a fixed storyline. Each bachelor has their own route. Butch runs the store and takes an interest in you early. Jace handles livestock and brings a softer dynamic. Rusty helps renovate your house and has more going on than he first shows. Others, like Sanjay or the hillbilly brothers, open up depending on how far you push their events. I must say that some of the routes feel way more rushed than others, and that is why I lowered the star score for writing. There are some tropes in the story that did not particularly capture me (i.e. the MC seemingly "dumb" vibe, which manifests many times throughout the story). Representation — ★★★★★ This is a village where every interaction and every route is built around M/M relationships. The game does a good job at showcasing a wide cast with different personalities and looks. There are seven bachelors in total, each tied to a different part of the map. Some routes are straightforward, others require specific steps or timing. There is even a shared route option if you choose to go that way. Gameplay — ★★★★☆ This is not just a visual novel. You are farming. Clearing land, planting crops, raising animals, selling goods, and earning money to upgrade your house. Those upgrades matter. You cannot move forward in certain routes or reach an ending without improving your home. Progression is tied directly to how much you invest into the farm. There is also a daily loop. Work the farm, earn money, then spend time with characters. Some events only trigger on specific days or after certain actions, so you end up planning around that. It can feel repetitive, especially when you are farming just to push the next requirement, but it is part of how the game is structured. Art & Direction — ★★★☆☆ Each bachelor has a clear design and is tied to a specific location, so it is easy to remember where to go and who you are dealing with. The CGs are tied to progression and are unlocked through each route. The farming side is functional to the game. It does what it needs to do, but the attention is clearly on character scenes and interactions. Voice acting is included, which adds an extra later of interactivity and realism; however, there are parts that are not voiced. Do I recommend it? — ★★★★☆ Yes, but you need to be okay with games that require you to progress through specific daily loops and farming simulators. There is a lot here. Multiple routes, different characters, and enough content to go back and try again. Tags: BL • Farming sim • Dating sim • Multiple routes • Explicit
♥♥♥ iyi bir oyun
Racism against the only poc character? By LAW ENFORCEMENT? Are you kidding me? Otherwise a decent game so this was really disappointing.
Enjoyable little game. Several entertaining story lines. Sweet, fun and sexy too :-)
The game is a mix of stereotypes about Southern peoples, and just plain racism (the money faced toon sex in the woods), or all the Trumpish doomsday preppers. jace, Nuzzler and Tida might be the only redeemable characters. I finally married Jace, he's my fav, sweet personality and cute ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ butt! One of the downsides is once you lock in the romance with an NPC, you can't be a horny slut anymore. Some of the treasures in the mine are bugged, I keep getting these blank sheets of paper that Cody says somethings on them, but they are totally blank. The art is basic, not too bad. Cody's sis is so annoying, I wish she could be replaced with a hot brother instead.
Mucho s3x0 gay,me encanta :D♥
ниодного секса в капусте. плюс упущенная возможность сделать фурри аллигатора вместо волка так как я, будучи флоридаменом, уверен, что действия происходят во флориде(у меня такое каждый день)
I bought this so long ago but only now trying it, there's some interesting things, there's a skeleton of a interesting game, even certain characters actually having a story arc but that's all it's a skeleton, I might have recommended it right up to the point of seeing a dlc that is just a guide which given it's apparently pretty easy to break progression that should be at least free if they don't fix things. Some nice characters, some okay voice actors (some much better than others), the tropes are what they are, I mainly wish they weren't so forceful with it, and that you could get to know multiple people without it literally closing off all paths. Also make no mistake this is a visual novel, with farming as a tacted on flash game that barely has as consequence. Mining is where it's at. And more importantly you cannot continue your life past marriage (not that the bones would make it worth while) If this game was on discount and they made that guide free, then if you like gay themed visual novels give it a go, it doesn't take long to try one path, most of my time is a second path which ultimately seemed broken. But charging to avoid lockouts is a temperamental game is low. Sadly though it seems to be the case so often that queer games are lead by greed, thinking they have a captive market without options...it's not true though, there's better than this free options out there they can just be harder to find.
Humorous, fun and tantalizing but not so much that it is cringe. Replays are fun every time.
Simple, but nice.
