Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.25/day in the week to Jul 21 → 0.2/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

It is a bit clunky and definitely not AAA, but damn, it worked for me. The atmosphere carried the whole thing: Mars, isolation, corporate secrets, body horror, family trauma, ancient ruins, strange language, dreams, and that slow Lovecraftian feeling that knowledge itself can become a disease. Some puzzles were annoying, the gameplay was rough in places, but I stayed engaged all the way through. It had mood, mystery, and enough weirdness to keep me constantly asking what the hell was going on. Not perfect, but memorable. A strong little cosmic horror trip.

Moons of Madness is what it says on the cover: an eldritch scifi horror adventure. The player is Shane, a scientist at a secret research installation on Mars, funded by a shadowy company called Orochi. It follows the typical horror game trajectory: everything is fine in the beginning, then something goes a little wrong, then everything quickly goes a lot wrong and you're frantically trying to survive long enough to resolve the main plot conflict. The environment is nicely done: you're in a pressurized habitat with different areas, or out through an airlock to take a rover to another site to check on something, etc. Both the "normal" and "scary" vibes are :chefkiss: The gameplay is mainly exploring, unraveling the mystery, and solving simple sciency puzzles. There are a few short sections that are more actiony and one stealthish area, but mostly you just have to figure out what to do to advance. The player character talks and reacts to stuff that happens, but like kind of weird one-sentence interjections in between long silences. Like, you'll see something messed up, and he'll say "omg that is so messed up!" and then go back to not saying anything as you engage even more with the messed-upness. The plot doesn't really hold together, even for eldritch horror, and almost everything is left unexplained (negative). All that being said, I did play through the whole thing, and the ambience does compensate for the weaker parts imo, overall a decent time.

3.7 Not the biggest fan of this, it was kinda eh, very generic and boring. My playtime somehow was 12 hours, most of that was nodding off or just getting distracted by how bored I was. That said it wasn't particularly 'bad', there's some questionable animations in some portions personally (notably the injection sequences with an entity, they just felt really stilted and poor). There are people that would enjoy this, again it's a fine walking sim, with a few chase sections and weirdly stealthy nearing the end. It's also not too long of a commitment, you can do it in about 3 hours or so, but first time will likely be around 5-6 I'd estimate. Don't expect too much horror outside of pretty general Lovecraftian esque stuff. Story (for the most part) is pretty generic, I can see an appreciation as a fan of Secret World but as soon as you hear some things introduced you know exactly where it's going, both as a fan and tbh just super generic as a sci-fi plot. There is an element to be said in a psychological aspect from the perspective of the main character but it ultimately doesn't really matter and nor really cared much throughout. Kind of criminal that you get all achievements in one run, barring one near the end that's easy to reload save and grab. There's one anomaly that is right about the 1/3 mark through the game. There is no chapter select.
This AA title met all of my standards for the atmospheric horror genre. Highly recommend!
