A relaxed citybuilder. Dev's are active that's a + for me.
With improved graphics and adding Events this can be the spiritual sequel of Surviving Mars.
Such a fun game! It is still being polished, but, man, it is worth it. Great style, great attention to detail, and the DEV is working hard on it still. Highly recommend.
A nicely paced game, mechanics similar to other production-chain-builders like foundation or anno series. Several things still need to be polished, but even now (v0.11) the game and overall atmosphere is nice. The game needs quite a lot of micromanagement and repetative tasks and builds, but even so it still has some good ideas and the potential to get better. (not sure it is worth full price tag at the moment, but maybe with more content/in some sale, not a bad one for your wishlist ;-)
Having first played the demo, something I loved about this game (I love builders), was the direction/evolution strategy, and also (this will sound really shallow) the music is fantastic. Hence I then bought the game, and am just loving exploring with the sandbox right now.. ensuring I have enough resources to avoid the dreaded tunes that let you know when things aren't going so well!!
Easy to pick up and play. A comfy city builder with some unique features like interplanetary trading. Hoping for more content to be added along the way, as it is still early in development.
this needs a lot more... mostly Quality of Life updates. possible cycle between town centers, move buildings, rotate camera to north etc - such things. better UI and possible raster would be nice to. everything is a mess.
Moons of Ardan Moons of Ardon is a city building game, but its not just your normal build an empire collect resource kind of game. NO. In this game your a survivor of a crash-landing spaceship, that lands you into your first moon, VELAA. This big blue beautiful moon is where you start your adventure. you start off with limited resources and build your first city center. From there you start to unlock parts of culture you had lost and will help you to ultimately build a hyper gate home. As you grow your civilization you will come upon space routes. Here is where the game changes up and where it begins to get difficult. you learn that there are more moons out there and you must try and build a new civilization on these moons as well as keeping your first moon happy. Trust me when i say it can become difficult trying to keep your citizens happy on multiple moons and pollution free. That brings up my next point, I HATE POLLUTION! Pollution is a new variable you must keep an eye on, or you will be in trouble. The higher the pollution the more your citizens consume resources. If you don't have enough resources, your population drops, and it makes it hard to come back from but not impossible. The graphics aren't special, each building has the same gray with yellow stripes and it all blends in. I would have loved to see more diversity between the different types of buildings and more of a bigger, better felling as i unlocked new tiers. The music is also basic as well and dose get annoying after a hour. One thing i did enjoy were the small details they had in the game. You can watch your moons orbit around what looks to be a ball of gas. as well as seeing your building become dirtier as pollution increases. i'm currently at 5k empire population and the game is running smooth. My goal is to hit 10k! After spending over 30 hours on this game i am still trying to build the best empire i can, and overall, i enjoyed this game very much. Currently it's an early access game, so i have ran into a few bugs but nothing more then normal for these kinds of games. I would give this game a 7.5 out of 10. Since the game is only the cost of lunch, I would Highly recommend giving the game a try. If you'd like to see game play look up Drago Gaming96
