Cant believe this is free
Amazing roguelike with great worldbuilding
The old-school visuals might make it look simple, but there is a lot happening underneath: exploration, turn-based combat, lore and plenty of mystery that keeps pushing you forward. I spent a fair amount of time being completely lost, and the game does not always explain where to go or what to do next. Sometimes that feels rewarding, other times a bit frustrating. Still, for a free game, the content here is decent. If you enjoy classic RPGs and do not mind figuring things out through trial and error, there is a lot to like
Awesome world-building with a great story behind it. Unfortunately, the combat and overall strategy boils down to one-shot enemies and recovering poise. Leaves you without much room for flexible, creative gameplay as you progress.
Moonring is a wonderful game that is also free, so it's worth at least trying out to see if you like it.
Extremely good, and also free
