Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1/day in the week to Sep 13 → 1.5/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

On paper I should love this game but it just does not click with me at all. I am not sure what it is I play deck builders a lot and this one is not one that has ever landed with me after 20 hours I had to just stop trying to get it to click for me. Slay the spire is still the best in this genera off the table top.
After spending over 200 hours and grinding out 100% of the achievements, I have a deep appreciation for this game. It is truly the only deck-builder since Slay the Spire that managed to keep me hooked for so long. There is a profound satisfaction in building powerful units and crafting a deck lethal enough to slaughter angels and reclaim Hell. The Good: - Incredible tactical depth and rewarding unit synergies. - A highly addictive gameplay loop that rewards experimentation. The Struggle (The Covenant System): While the game is fantastic, the Covenant system (this game’s version of Ascension) feels like it could have used a bit more fine-tuning at the highest ranks. As the difficulty climbs toward Cov 25, the enemy power scaling becomes so aggressive that it inadvertently renders many interesting cards and units nearly unplayable. In a roguelike, you expect to fight RNG. However, at the highest levels, the balance feels a bit too restrictive. You can often sense whether a run is destined to fail right from the start. Some clan combinations feel significantly disadvantaged, and the Covenant system can be quite punishing toward these inherent weaknesses. The "Breaking the Game" Meta: To overcome the overwhelming power of the enemies in the endgame, you are often forced to "break" the game with specific, over-the-top combos. While discovering these synergies is exhilarating at first, having to rely on the same "broken" strategies over and over can make the experience feel a bit stale and repetitive. I truly wish there was more room for diverse, creative playstyles to shine even at the highest difficulty. Final Thoughts: It’s a bit bittersweet that the game reached the end of its life cycle without a final balancing pass to address these endgame spikes. I don’t regret a single hour of the 200 I’ve spent, but I can’t help but wish it had been polished just a little further to reach its full, glorious potential.

I'm new to rogue-like deck builders but I've had a lot of fun with Monster Train. It eases you in and becomes more challenging the better you get at the game so you're forced to come up with new plays to try and win. On occasion, I've thought there's no way I'd progress further, due to the difficulty, but you try something new and you defeat the boss you'd been stuck on the previous 15 attempts. Well worth the money, give it a go.
Interesting premise and take on the Slay the Spire-like deckbuilding genre. It's too bad that only after a handful of runs, I feel like I've seen most of what the game has to offer, and have no desire or motivation to unlock all the cards, mainly due to the fact that the game's graphical style and art design suffers from looking like a dumbed down Heartstone / mobile Free to Play phone game. I understand there's a sequel out, but I don't really think a sequel is necessary when both games look identical - they could have just focused on improving and expanding on the original and have DLC if necessary and it would essentially be the same game. Sadly I would rather spend time playing better looking games in the same genre.
This game is absolute satanic marxist filth. They say it has a twist but it's actually twisted. The game story reverses the roles of Heaven and Hell. The demons are presented as being oppressed by the angels, and the player plays as a demon fighting the angels. You don't need this filth in your life.
It's like Slay the Spire's chiller, goofier cousin: similar complexity, but less serious. Perfect for playing at work, in transit, or whenever you just want to relax with a game instead of trying to conquer it.

这卡死是什么鬼,电脑一直转圈,其他游戏一点问题都没有
If you love Slay the Spire, imho Monster Train is the better game with more gameplay and complexity. Great game!
