Super relaxing and cosy game, absolutely worth a play
Very sweet take on a "choose your own adventure" style game. Loved the little clues throughout that help build the stories. Music is great, playstyle is calming. Highly recommend!
One of the bests games I've ever played. Heartbreaking, but in a good way. Loved it ❤️
this game is beautiful. the gameplay is lovely and the story is so good
I started this game after finishing whisper of the house and unpacking and boy did it hit the spot. I love that replaying the levels gets you different endings and its all choice based! Theres little puzzles in each level too and I def recommend completionists to play this game! the fun part is you learn about each chapter in the main characters life and by unlocking all the levels, you finish the game! (I lowkey cried at the end) Highly recommend!
reminds me of the game unpacking, but with more options and puzzles. love it
Very beautiful game, I would highly recommend for the story and the visuals. Room decorator/organising with a GUT punch! Also turn up the music when you start <3
I've been aching for a game like this since Unpacking and this goes even further with multiple scenarios and ALL THE FEELS!! I hope they make more like this.
Momento was an absolute delight to play. You play as Sam, choosing different momentos that shape the direction their life takes as you unpack boxes and organizes different rooms at various stages in their life. Throughout you’ll find sticky notes you’ll start to connect to various characters, objects that travel from youth to adulthood, and a story that pulls at your heart. I won’t lie when I say the game made me cry a few times between different endings, notes, and certain little details in each level. Momento isn’t a game that tells its story through text boxes, but rather through the items and environment. It’s clever and cute. Yes you’re going to have to pay attention, but that’s the fun. The addition of little puzzles in each room have an extra bit of gameplay aside from decorating your space. There’s an additional free play space where you can decorate your own room with different items you encounter in the levels which adds an additional bit of fun when you’re all done. You can decorate each space however you want. Want to leave an entire deck of cards scattered on the floor? Sure. Random object in the fridge? Why not? I felt it gave you more freedom to add to the story. “Would Sam keep this out or would everything be neat and tidy?” Overall there’s no wrong way to set up. My only con was snapping wasn’t always as clean as I wanted it. Things wouldn’t always snap cleanly or at all. Overall I’d highly recommend picking this up. I haven’t enjoyed a storytelling like this recently and it was difficult to remember to slow down and catch all the details because I was enjoying it so much.
