About
Missiles are incoming. The stakes are high. Only you can stop the destruction. The teams at Mighty Yell and 13AM Games have taken one of Atari’s most iconic titles and created a high-pressure, tactical turn-based game where players must manage their pool of defenses strategically to survive rounds of incoming missiles.
Missile Command Delta approaches gameplay in a completely new way, but it retains all the tension and suspense of the arcade original. You have to think strategically about every move you make because even one poor choice can have grave consequences. The turn-based strategy game is wrapped in a twisting, narrative thriller – great for mystery fans, completionists, and players that love to explore and solve puzzles.
Between inbound missile alerts, investigate the underground bunker to access locked rooms, uncover secrets, and strengthen your arsenal. Will you be able to unravel the mystery in time?
- Turn-Based Strategy: A totally unique strategy experience. New missile and enemy types are uncovered when you explore deeper into the bunker.
- Plan Your Defense: Every turn is critical, and one poor choice can spell disaster. Plan your next move, and map out a cascade of explosions that take out multiple enemy missiles to help conserve your resources.
- High-Stakes Mystery: The turn-based strategy game is wrapped in a high-stakes narrative puzzle. Read every document, watch your every step, and ace every puzzle if you want to [REDACTED].
- Experience the Cold War: A claustrophobic retro-future aesthetic of dusty command consoles and supercomputers place you deep into Cold War paranoia.

Pretty fun puzzle game. Enjoyed the exploration aspect of the game.
This is really a puzzle game. It reminds me most of Agent A with some missile defense turn based puzzles. I swear some of the defense games were near impossible (I walked away for a few days with one on the 3rd floor that I couldn't Ace). But this really was just a fun time with a ton of puzzles. If I had any complaint it's that the game needs more community activity and hints. i'm currently stuck on one of the last puzzles, but I'm sure I'll get there. A small hint would be great though.
Seems to be a bit of a shame this game flew so far under the radar. Of course, it's very different from the arcade missile command, but, surprisingly, the turn based structure works really well! The characters seem maybe a little one dimensional, but the intrigue of getting locked in a nuclear bunker makes up for it. The game also seems a little nostalgic in itself, but less for the arcade era, and more for that late ps2 early ps3 era. It's not directly referencing those games in anyway, but it reminds me of them.
This game's a great example of Doing A Lot With A Little! It's a combo meal of a great tactics game, some escape room puzzle exploration to keep things fresh, and a serviceable story with very light relationship tracking. Here's how it goes: You're trapped in a bunker littered with several dozen training terminals, The Witness-style. Solve the terminals, explore the bunker, figure out what's going on. The missile commanding itself escalates in a pleasing fashion, and you're tasked to deal with combinations of fast missiles, slow missiles, big missiles, green missiles, etc. (actually that's all of them?). It's a cool take on the OG Missile Command mechanics, and your foresight and prioritization skills will be tested. If the levels get too tough, you can step away from the terminal and root around drawers and cabinets for extra missile and other equipment cards to tip the scales. There's a smattering of other puzzles and secret rooms, and the rewards are More Missile, More Puzzle, or More Lore. Nice! The characters in the bunker are, I feel, pretty one-note. If you were angling for any of the relationship-based achievements (everyone loves you/everyone hates you), it's very easy to navigate the characters' conversations. Still, the ultimate mystery of the bunker was neat, and the ending left me with mixed feelings but in a good way. It's fun!
Atari pls dont license the golden names of these classics to n00bs that does not understand history... keep it to the brilliant Recharged line.
A fairly basic but interesting turn based game with a charming story. Recommended EDIT: Playing deeper into the game and the complexity is increasing in interesting ways. Some puzzles are actually quite tricky, and the story is starting to take on a more serious edge. Highly recommended.
