i'm obsessed with this VN. the mystery grows more intricate and ambitious, the characters grow more compelling and multi-faceted, and the writing remains as delightful always. lovely art and music like in volume 1. highly recommend this to any fans of mysteries and amazing female characters.
A fantastic continuation to an already great story. Eagerly looking forward to the next part!
This is a sequel done right. Volume 2 ups the stakes from Volume 1, advances the plot in a substantial way, while teasing significant new mysteries that have me anxiously awaiting how this story could possibly be wrapped up. The quality so far suggests that the author will successfully stick the landing though, so please do pick this up since this series deserves way more attention than it's getting!
Terrifying and lots of nun sex. Perfect.
oh hedwig's really going through it
A strong entry in an already strong series. This volume feels like it explores much of what the first volume established and introduced, but didn't have time to thoroughly explore. I believe what makes this chapter truly special compared to the first is how our understanding of the characters are expanded, and how Hedwig changes according to her experiences with them. I found that many of the characters I disliked in the first volume had been fleshed out to the point where I started to empathize with and actually enjoy them. Above all though, watching Hedwig slowly grow out from the rigid and traumatized shell she starts in is captivating. Her beliefs are challenged at every corner, forcing her to take on new qualities (including many she loathes) and shed inconvenient ones. We can see her character slowly transforming through each scene. Her growth throughout the story is certainly what keeps me coming back each chapter.
