I had very high hopes for this game, having enjoyed the sequel's movement & general mechanics and the amazing soundtracks for both games. However, while this game does have its moments - the animated cutscenes, overall style ad aesthetic, and novelty for its time - I can't say that it holds up well today. I found the combat frustrating, and the parkour can be awkward to time correctly. The puzzles surrounding parkour often get in the way of any real "flow", making it difficult to feel satisfied by it. Occasionally it will brick my computer but I think that's a consequence of porting from console to PC. My primary source of enjoyment in this game is the soundtrack and sound design. Clearly so much thought has gone into the soundscape of this game, and it can be very immersive at times. Overall, the game stumbles with its parkour and combat mechanics, but the overall soundscape and aesthetic make it worth a shot - even if only for a while.

Perfect Game

Игра на 6/10. Очень стилевая игра, сильно лезет в глаза белый цвет, невозможно смотреть. Игру очень легко дропнуть и только в 2026 я смог ее пройти. Боевка кал, cюжет кал. Иногда плохо считывается уровень и не понятно куда идти. Не всегда гг цепляется за уступы. В игре есть задумки, но они не были реализованы.

I like the minimalist world design and the lack of HUD. I really missed the good old games where nothing had to be photorealistic and every title had its own color palette and unique appearance. Of course this game has flaws eg. you are not able to zoom in during shooting (except with the sniper) but all in all I had a great time with it.

it could do with a remake... of a remake.

Very entertaining. The parkour is very nice and the aesthetic is precious. The frutiger aero vibes are marvellous. The only downside I can think of is that sometimes some jumps aren't counted, but aside from that I would say that this game is totally remarkable. The story is solid, with good characters and turns of events. 8/10 For me.

Best fps platformer of its time. Arguably still in contention for that title nowadays.
