Miraculous: Paris Under Siege is an action-adventure title that translates the colorful, fast-paced energy of the Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir animated series into an interactive experience designed to be approachable, energetic, and clearly aimed at fans of the franchise. Developed by Petit Fabrik and published by GameMill Entertainment, the game places players directly into a citywide crisis, as Paris is overrun by villains empowered through Shadow Moth’s schemes. Rather than reinventing the genre, the game focuses on delivering a faithful adaptation that emphasizes recognizable characters, straightforward mechanics, and an upbeat heroic tone. The core gameplay revolves around switching between Ladybug and Cat Noir, either solo or with a second player in local co-op. Each character has a distinct feel that reflects their personalities, with Ladybug leaning toward agile, balanced combat and Cat Noir emphasizing heavier strikes and momentum. Combat encounters are built in a beat-’em-up style, pitting the heroes against waves of enemies in contained areas before allowing progression. Attacks, dodges, and special abilities are easy to grasp, making the game accessible for younger players or those less experienced with action games. While the combat lacks deep complexity, it succeeds in being responsive and visually lively, maintaining a steady rhythm that fits the series’ animated roots. Traversal plays a significant role in shaping the overall experience, with movement systems that highlight acrobatics and mobility. Swinging, wall-running, jumping across rooftops, and sliding through urban spaces give the game a sense of speed and freedom, even though the environments themselves are relatively structured. Paris is divided into districts that can be tackled in a flexible order, each dominated by different villains. This structure gives players a mild sense of choice while keeping objectives clear and manageable. However, the similarity between districts and mission types can lead to repetition over time, especially during longer play sessions. Progression systems provide light customization without overwhelming the player. As missions are completed, players earn resources that can be used to improve health, damage output, speed, evasion, and special ability efficiency. These upgrades offer tangible benefits and help smooth difficulty spikes, but they do not dramatically change how the characters play. The focus remains on consistency and accessibility rather than experimentation or build diversity, reinforcing the idea that the game is meant to be welcoming rather than mechanically demanding. One of the strongest aspects of the game is its local cooperative mode, which allows two players to experience the story together. Playing side by side enhances the sense of teamwork that defines Ladybug and Cat Noir’s partnership, making encounters feel more dynamic and fun. Coordinating attacks, moving through environments together, and sharing victories adds an extra layer of enjoyment that often surpasses the single-player experience. This cooperative emphasis makes the game particularly appealing for families or fans who want to share the adventure with someone else. Visually, the game stays close to the animated series, with bright colors, recognizable character designs, and music that echoes the show’s heroic atmosphere. While the graphics are not cutting-edge, they serve their purpose by maintaining a clear, readable style that feels consistent with the source material. Animations and effects emphasize energy and motion rather than realism, reinforcing the cartoon-inspired identity. Some technical rough edges and limited environmental detail may stand out to players used to higher-budget action games, but these shortcomings are unlikely to detract significantly for the intended audience. Overall, Miraculous: Paris Under Siege is a focused, fan-oriented action game that prioritizes accessibility, cooperative play, and faithful representation over depth or innovation. Its mechanics are simple, its structure predictable, and its challenge level modest, but these qualities align well with its goal of offering a fun and approachable superhero experience. For fans of the Miraculous series, especially younger players or those looking for a lighthearted co-op adventure, the game delivers a charming and energetic journey through a Paris in peril, capturing the spirit of its animated origins without overcomplicating the experience. Rating: 5/10

tosqueira kkkkkk
This is quite possibly one of the worst games I ever had the chance to play and complete with a friend. The main system of the combat is downright awful to the point you question yourself if you should even indulge yourself and commit to wanting to beat this game. The only reason I wanted to beat this game once and for all is to finally tell everyone what an abhorrent experience it has been for me. I love my voice actors, shout out to Bryce Papenbrook and Christina Vee I love them and I love the Miraculous franchise, but god would it better if this game had never ceased to exist. If I could, I would want to take the three hours I spent beating this game to 3 hours of torturing myself. But guess what. I did both.
