Would definitely recommend the game. It is a journey, it is not easy. The visuals, the story and the music are amazing. As a person who doesn't eat and breathe platformers on a daily basis, during my first playthrough, I found the game to be quite challenging. On my second playthrough though, I had so much fun. Even the hardest platforming bits felt like something I actually wanted to tackle. The bosses are well-balanced, except for that one up Metropolis (you know who you are)! but I do understand why it has that specific mechanic lore-wise. For people who find it too hard though, the game has a setting which tones down fights. As for the controversial lose-a-life mechanic, I think it is actually so meaningful that it happens. Mio is struggling and trying so hard to keep going, hanging on by a thread. I maybe would have liked that to happen at crucial times in the story, but at the same time, the randomness is fitting to the atmosphere they set in the game. I find it quite disheartening that the game did not do that well sales-wise because I believe it does have the potential to be up there with the big names of metroidvanias. I 100% it out of pure love and appreciation. The attention to detail, the small interactions with the npcs, (some of which are very hidden), and I will say it again - the story, the visuals and the music created a beautiful experience that I enjoyed thoroughly. I really hope that more people give this game a real chance and enjoy it as I did!

Every market we collect.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Incredible game! Amazing art and music, challenging, but doesnt waste your time (with the right power ups) like silksong does, and really scratches that exploration itch. Also unlike silksong, it has a very interesting story thats easy to follow. Best metroidvania I've ever played to date!
playing this game is like playing a super epic movie it's so dramatic and emotional at the same time I love all the different abilities and the way they feel different from any other game and all the bosses were super fun to fight the story is amazing the music is just so perfect I absolutely love this game
A jucy game
A really amazing metroidvania experience, the developers did a great job with this one. Pros: -Gorgeous graphical style -Fun exploration and combat -Challenging platforming -Excellent boss design -Ran well Cons: -Some long boss runbacks
Absolutely spectacular metroidvania. Great gameplay, great sound design, and most of all amazing visual design. However, this game can be very difficult and frustating and I do not recommend if you are new to metroidvania's and platformers. Yet I still had a blast playing this game, highly recommend to anyone looking for a challenge.
Overall 9.5/10 Story and characters are absolutely beautiful, and on multiple occasions I cried at the melancholy atmosphere. Visual and sound design is on point. The music is very minimalistic in most cases, just enough to give the right emotion without being in the way. There are several bangers on the OST that I've added to my video game music playlist. Exploration is deep and engaging but in most cases not too esoteric for one to at least complete the game without help from a friend or wiki. There are some secrets that I couldn't find without help but I never felt stuck for progression. Gameplay is very strong, but there are a couple small gripes that take away half a point. One complaint I had from the beginning is that Mio's aerial down attack does no damage to enemies. I imagine it was either meant to prevent cheesing or to allow for longer enemy pogos to higher areas, but in my opinion nothing would have been lost by allowing it to damage. The only other con is that there were a few platforming segments that were annoying, such as
having to stay airborne while waiting for cycles and fighting enemies at the same time
