Good game but not recommended if grinding the achievements as it is unnecessarily long and tedious. This game is a love/hate kind thing. while this game is overall good and fun for what it is, It's also unnecessarily frustrating with the randomness in the levels. It randomly generates the patterns every level. This creates un-winnable scenarios and as you get into the later levels, things basically spawn on your head insta-killing you. (especially the green mints) While the game is charming, fun and enjoyable at first, it loses that as you continue to grind through the grueling 100 levels to get all the achievements. By the end the charm and fun is lost, at least for me.

i have always fantasized about being a tiny red guy dodging sweet treats!!! now my drems have beocme a reality!!!
very addicted to this game. the old style with the intense gameplay is awesome and i love it to death, the levels get hard and challenging over the levels and it makes the game way more intriguing and also makes me wanna punch my monitor but it is a very good game
mint dodgers is holding my family hostage
The definition for quality no longer requires words. With the release of Mint Dodgers the world has been blessed with a universal identifier for what quality looks like. Mint Dodgers may very well be the piece of art that saves us from capitalism
Don't let the visuals of this game fool you, this game is atrocious for many reasons: All levels are essentially the same, hazards are unreasonably difficult, the User Interface is terrible, powerups are generic, the game generally feels unpolished, etc. As a developer, it makes me sad what a mess this game is. Me or anyone else who cares about their own game would do a better job at this. I'm astonished at the fact this game is on Steam.
Green mint wicked and evil, otherwise good game :)
WARNING: THIS GAME IS ONLY FOR THE INTELLECTUALLY GIFTED AND COURAGEOUS, SNOWFLAKES TURN BACK!! :steamfacepalm: I have no words to describe how much this game has changed my life in just 59 minutes. Every time I close my eyes I see Mint Dodgers. Lets just say it provides a delightfully difficult challenge with a minty twist! The first time you manage to dodge those green bouncing peppermints while its raining AND with a polar bear running across the screen, it feels like your soul has elevated to a higher plane of existence (flowstate unlocks here). I believe my IQ to have grown by AT LEAST 2 points just from clearing 50 levels, I cant even talk to low IQ (and EQ!) neanderthals anymore, I hope they make a support group for those intelligent enough to have stumbled across Mint Dodgers in the first place. If my wife made me choose between Mint Dodgers and her it would be a swift divorce, gonna refund
Even when I was young, I was afraid to die. The uncertain possibility all men will know, that all must find it in them to face. This game did not give me any answers or any comfort for my deathbed, but I am not afraid now. To have played a game, no, to have experienced art of this caliber, of true perfection, has shined a light that has eroded my fear. I may not know what is next, but I know no matter what it is, I can say that I have lived a life of substance and that I have seen true beauty. I need not fear to gaze into the abyss, for even equipped with only a memory of such perfect beautiful light, I may walk into its cold embrace with my head held high. I have no fear to die, to live. No mistake or misfortune could ever hope to mar my life beyond the light that Mint Dodgers has given it. By playing this game, joy has become an inescapable and omnipresent fate. I always had believed that "perfection" was a fool's errand, that nothing created by men could ever be truly "perfect", and that we must find peace with the flaws of our art, but Mint Dodgers has shattered my beliefs. If we make the perhaps absurd assumption that Mint Dodgers was, in fact, created by a man, born of blood, then we must grapple with the truth that perfection can be achieved by man. It is easy to be frustrated by this revelation, to think that all other art has been flawed for no greater reason than what? Laziness? Incompetence? I myself strive to create and birth my ideas onto the canvas of my given medium. So, I began to question myself and my art. Why couldn't I create something so utterly perfect? For weeks after I first bore witness to Mint Dodgers, I could not sleep, my mind clouded by thoughts of doubt. When my body could no longer stay awake after days of consciousness, my slumber would not be a respite. It would be in one of the constant nightmares that I would find my purpose. There was no trick to the creation of Mint Dodgers, and no incurable dysfunction of myself, only a man who wholly and entirely applied himself to his craft. As much as I am unable to know what lies beyond that terrible crossing, I am unable to know if I will ever be able to create any art, even a fraction of perfect as Mint Dodgers, and yet, I must try. I must toil day and night for my craft, for the man who created Mint Dodgers and I are both but men, mortals. I look at the beauty now, not with jealousy, but instead hope that because we are not in any way fundamentally different, I may create something so perfect. Hope that my children, who will be born into a world that knows the light of Mint Dodgers, will strive to achieve greatness. I do not know if god is with us, alive or dead, but Mint Dodgers proves to me that man's very being is divine.
