I wasn't sure what to expect from this game but I was surprised to see how the deckbuilding works, the mechanics are quite good and the game is satisfying to play. If I had one gripe, its that runs are too long for my tastes. But overall its an interesting and cool game.
Fundamentally, it’s quite an entertaining game. You can experiment with a few synergies, but the game as a whole lacks variety. There are very few maps or battlefields, and they repeat constantly. Once you’re somewhat familiar with a map, you know exactly where to best position your units—and you simply do the same thing again on your next playthrough. Randomly generated maps would add a great deal of variety. Personally, I find the game to be quite easy; however, after completing successful runs, you can unlock harder difficulty levels for each individual character. Unfortunately, this progression must be unlocked separately for *every single character*—meaning you have to start over from Level 1 each time. Consequently, every character has their own distinct progression level. It would be much better if these difficulty levels were unlocked globally for all characters; that way, when I unlock a new character, I wouldn't have to start them off again at the very easy Level 1 and work my way through the harder runs all over again. I have a high-performance PC, yet the game still stutters when a large number of enemies or tanks appear on screen. Furthermore, there are bugs where certain in-game events or map-specific mechanics fail to trigger correctly. I’m giving the game a positive recommendation, even though I’m not 100% convinced by it. Regardless, I did have several hours of fun playing it. My advice is to either wait until more content is added or pick it up during a sale.
Seems like it has some potential, a decent amount of content for having just hit early access. Still has a ways to go though...giving a recommend purely based on the hope that there is a lot more to come. The towers and mods are interesting, and combining deck builder with tower defense definitely is a mix I enjoy. The choice to make enemies attack the towers and be able to destroy them is an interesting choice, makes you think about over investing in a single tower. Currently though, the maps are very repetitive...often you'll see the exact same map multiple missions in a row. Also some pretty important TD style features missing...like no ability to set target priority on towers. By far the worst thing at the moment though is the flying enemies. The size of the maps and speed of those flying enemies make them almost guaranteed lost lives...especially since you can't even set target priority. I get the desire to have flying enemies make your defense have to be more dynamic but at the moment they are just pure cancer.
Simpel - Aber Genial :-)
Quite good game. Feels like playing slay the spire + Tower defense. They combine 2 game genre that i like
Only about an hour and a half in but so far this is a great TD game with card mechanics perfectly blended in.
An affordable, exciting, and challenging tower defense game with a ton of build variety and unlockables to collect. I usually like having the ability to determine the enemy routing in my TD games, but this one has me hooked!
You don't know how much you'd like this game until you play it. OMG if you played either Slay the Spire or Monster Train, you will love the Deckbuilding aspect. And if you've played plants v.s. zombies or bloons Tower Defense you will love... well the Tower defense aspect. Both combined creates an interesting mixture. The Enemy Variants, diffrent characters, loads of Cards and multiple difficultys will keep me and you aswell comming back. And if any of that sounds Interesting to you, than give it a shot. With a price lower than all of the listed games its guarenteed to be worth your while and in the current Summer Sale, its a no-brainer imo
Nice game, can be a banger. But it couldn't keep me playing: every enemy wave is started by a button, not automatically. This creates a HUGE "idgaf" feeling when playing. Other TD games give you pressure like "BOSS IS COMING", and the feeling of fighting through the pressure is what makes me keep playing.
好玩是好玩,你能放塔的地方太少了,地图都优化优化吧,玩的很不舒服。
