loved it back on XBLA, still love it now just as much. its 1 to 1.

Takes forever to get started with minute long ups, minute long downs, with a light that ticks down and gets smaller the longer your in the mine, so you'll be struggling to see for your twenty things to bring up slowly... figured it might be a slow burn game, but then... entire map becomes hard to spot quick sand traps and rocks that instant kill you and delete your inventory. Things also cost a ridiculous amount so you have to mine ALOT just to get a "plus one damage" to your pick axe, or 10 more gems to a bag. Checked the message boards and yeah, same complaints. Also seems certain benefits stop working later on, like... elevators. So you actually get minus progress the longer you play. Can't suggest a buy unless you like struggles with hard to spot traps. Not a casual game to relax to.

A simple digging game like Motherload, with significant differences: - The fuel mechanic is in the form of a light source, which illuminates minerals and dangers like rocks around you. Over time it shrinks and you have to go back to the surface to refuel. - Rocks fall down and kill you if they fall on you. There are no explosives or a way to remove the rocks. - You have a grappling hook which allows you to drill up to a limited extent, and also into walls near the ceiling. - You can place lifts and ladders for faster or easier transportation. - You don't have health, but if you fall too far you die. Overall, the playthrough is about 7-10 hours. There is a new game+ mechanic where you get to start a new game while keeping all your items, which is pointless. There is limited replay value in the sense that you can start a new game from scratch if you enjoy the game loop.

気軽にできて面白い。テラリア、マイクラからモンスターを除いてシンプルにした掘り堀りゲーム。ひたすら鉱石を集めてお金を稼いで、下を目指す。ハシゴや自動リフトを設置したり、ワープホールを利用したり、ツルハシをドリルに変えて掘ったり。掘るだけなのだが、ついついハマってしまう。モンスターいないと単調と感じる人には向かないが、シンプルに地面を掘っていくのが好きな人にはオススメ。

Super chill and relaxing. Love that this game was brought back!
