About
MindsEye Campaign
MindsEye is a single-player, story-driven action-adventure thriller set in the near-future desert city of Redrock. You play as Jacob Diaz, a former soldier haunted by a mysterious implant and fractured memories. Across a cinematic campaign, you’ll complete missions, uncover your past, and confront a conspiracy involving rogue AI, corrupt corporations, and unchecked military power, a threat that reaches far beyond the city itself.

The City of Redrock
Redrock is a desert metropolis where advanced technology is everywhere. AI and robotics control daily life, shaping everything from commerce to security. Beneath the surface, the city hides secrets, dangers, and conflict. From gleaming towers to industrial sprawl and remote outposts, every district is part of the story.
Combat
Combat is responsive and tactical. Outsmart enemies with unique behaviors, use cover and verticality, and fight in third person with a wide arsenal, pistols, SMGs, sniper rifles, energy weapons, and grenades. Your companion drone, DC2, is directly linked to your implant, providing hacking, scouting, and support in battle.

Driving and Vehicle Action
Missions place you behind the wheel of electric cars, muscle vehicles, buggies, and quadcopters. High-speed chases, desert runs, and industrial zone pursuits are designed to push your skills and keep the action moving.

Endless Stream of New Content
The campaign is only the beginning. MindsEye offers an endless stream of new playable content delivered regularly. New missions, races, puzzles, and challenges developed and released by the BARB team bring fresh surprises. This evolving world keeps MindsEye alive with new ways to play long after the credits roll.

Le saqué el 100% y daré mi reseña. ✔️Un jugador ❌Cooperativo. ❌Cooperativo Local. ❌Multijugador. ❌Malos. ❌Normales. ❌Correctos. ❌Buenos. ✔️Muy buenos. ❌Excelentes. === Precio/calidad === ❌Cómpralo No seas rata. ❌Espera a conseguirlo en un bundle. ✔️Espera a que baje de precio. ❌Acorde a lo que ofrece. ❌Pide reembolso si puedes. ✔️No lo compres. ❌Its, free.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 5: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

A very average game with an interesting premise, and lots of untapped potential. Overall it's a pretty solid experience that is let down by over promising and under delivering. Gun play and driving are satisfactory, but basic. Story has some compelling concepts, but unfortunately doesn't deliver by the end of it. All in all, it can be an enjoyable straight-forward game akin to the PS3/360 generation. There are plans to expand on it, but the future is uncertain. The game has a build mode that is quite extensive and has the capacity for endless content. The base game however, is lacking and missing several features you would come to expect from a game like this. If you go in with low expectations you can certainly have fun and even be pleasantly surprised at times. The game needs a lot of updates and love put into it, but there is genuinely something here that can one day be great. Time will tell if this game ever gets close to fully realizing its vast potential.
The perfect time to give this game a second chance (Especially on sale) I’ve been following MindsEye since its announcement, but due to the mixed launch reviews, I decided to wait. Recently, I caught a great sale where the game dropped to around €15, so I finally jumped in and finished it. Even though I played on PS5, I wanted to share my thoughts here because the current state of the game deserves recognition. Honestly, if the game had launched in the state it is in right now, the public reception would have been much better. A lot of people expected a sci-fi GTA due to the early hype, but it's much better approached as a linear action title. Technically speaking, running an Unreal Engine 5 title on a base PS5—which is now older hardware—proved that the optimization is surprisingly solid. I kept my expectations low, but the overall performance felt totally fine. Sure, a few things could have used a bit more polish, but we are talking about a €15 game here. To be fair, what more can you realistically ask for at this price point? The story isn't perfect, but it definitely has something to say. To put it into perspective, I recently bought Mafia: The Old Country for full AAA price and felt massively disappointed by its highly predictable plot. In comparison, MindsEye delivered a much more engaging narrative experience for a fraction of the cost. My biggest soft spot was the character of Charlie; I genuinely liked her and wished there was more content featuring her. However, the biggest downside lies in the structure of the campaign and the empty world. The main story desperately lacks side content—there are simply no activities or distractions to do between the main missions. Because of this, the city feels like a mere backdrop, and the gameplay loop devolves into a basic "drive from point A to point B, watch a cutscene, shoot, repeat" cycle without giving you a real reason to inhabit the world. If you were initially interested but got pushed away by the negative launch reviews, I completely understand. But if you are ever going to give this game a shot, there is no better time than right now. Pros: + Great value for money: At the €15 sale price, it’s an absolute steal. + Solid optimization: Handles Unreal Engine 5 surprisingly well even on older console hardware, which bodes well for the PC version too. + Engaging narrative: Has a lot to say and kept me hooked way more than some recent over-hyped, predictable AAA titles. +Likeable characters: Charlie is a standout character, though she deserved more screen time. Cons: - Lack of content between missions: The campaign desperately needs optional side activities or content to flesh out the downtime between main missions. - Overly simplistic mission structure: The core gameplay loop is very basic and the open-world elements feel underutilized. - Minor rough edges: Some elements still show that they could have used just a little more development time. Verdict: If you’ve been sitting on the fence, now is the perfect time to buy. For the price of a movie ticket, you get a solid sci-fi experience that finally works the way it was supposed to. Recommended.
I bought this game on sale and o gotta say i enjoyed it. The story is ok and gameplay not bad. I faced a few bugs here and there but my overall experience was good.
I enjoyed the game but like others have mentioned it doesn't run very well and is just badly optimized. The ending was also a bit strange and left me scratching my head. The facial animations, audio and overall graphics look great so no complaints there. I also played the ''Blacklisted'' mission which was very short but decent enough. There's not much else to say about it. Fun game for a one and done.
for the love of god, get rid of the chat icon in the single player campaign. it never goes away.
I bought this game and decided to play for the first time but everytime i open the game, it crashes. Im confused. I thought this was fixed which is why i bought the game now. Very disappointed. I bought a game and cant even play. If this is ever fixed and im able to play, I will come back and update my review but for now , I am very disappointed
I want my time back
played with update 8 during the free weekend: Performance issues, game is very mid, feels more like a fan made game. Might be worth at a very steep discount for 5 bucks
6/10 game. Story is pretty ok, except for how the game ends, but I can't really recommend the game due to the poor optimisation and performance. Perhaps in a few years when the game hopefully will run better it might be worth getting on sale, but as it is currently (played in July 2026) it's probably not worth getting
